The Corps! using modern Joe tooling.

I have always found the Corps! characters from Lanard fascinating. Such charmingly corny names... and THAN I got a look at the original card art!!
I had to include them in my Joeverse. I remember reading an issue of GI Joe where Duke was running the new Joe potentials through the ringer to see who will make it. Budo was one of the guys who got the job. But a BUNCH of other guys just couldnt make the cut.

I imagine that the Corps! are made up of those other guys. They are specialists, but just werent cut out for the Joe team.
The Corps! are a group of mercenaries who will assist the Joes on occasion. When the Joes have international missions, Bengala and Boomerang Billy are called in. In Japan, the job of local guides go to Hiro Yamato, and Dragon Han.

I couldnt find the original card art for Sam, so I chose to go with his repaint all black clothes version. It just looks so much cooler than his usual camo.

Alot of awesome work. Love Tracker Tom and Junkyard. Junkyard looks so much better with the Delta guy's head. Great to see updates. I have alot of these guys I got in a grab bag from a collectable store here.

Most of your figures match the card art better than the originals. What is up with the card art vs figure on the vintage Gasman. lol.
