Greetings Villagers! We have some great news to share and wanted all of you to be the first to know… First up…
We’re happy that many of you have reached out about buying extra figures. We are currently doing an inventory on what we have, getting the remaining backer orders shipped, prepping stock for Portmeirion (that’s right, Portmeirion is going to carry our figures!), then we can determine what we have for direct sales and will let everyone know where and how to purchase.
BUT… before we get ahead of ourselves on Wave No2 discussion, we also have a HUGE announcement this week.
Today we unveiled the look at the first of the figures with the folks at SCREENRANT. Each of the 4-inch retro style collectible figures in the line will be based on the classic Nancy Drew book cover art by celebrated artist Rudy Nappi. CLICK HERE FOR MORE AT SCREEN RANT!

PRISONER WAVE ONE STATUS
We have successfully recovered our remaining stock from the fulfillment company! That’s right, our wave 1 Prisoner figures are now safely with us in Los Angeles. There are about 15 amazing and patient backers who have been waiting for us to get the stock back so we can fulfill their orders. We are doing so now, and if you are one of those backers check your inbox for an email from us.We’re happy that many of you have reached out about buying extra figures. WANDERING PLANET EXTENDS THE PRISONER LICENSE!
ITV Studios have officially extended THE PRISONER toy license with us! That’s right, Wandering Planet Toys has just signed the deal and we’re thrilled to continue forward with ITV as partners to produce more collectible figures from The Prisoner. Look out No6… Wave No2 is coming!

NANCY DREW RETRO STYLE COLLECTIBLE FIGURES
Wandering Planet’s next collectible toy line is no longer a mystery! Or is it? It’s all about mystery and we couldn’t be more excited to bring one of literature's greatest detectives into toy form! The pre-launch page for Nancy Drew collectible figure line is now live! If you or others in your life are Nancy Drew fans, these toys, not unlike our Prisoner figures, are the first of their kind!

I gotta say, I'd never heard of the Prisoner until the initial KS campaign. It looks bizarre, like a real trip. Maybe if I'd been born 15 years earlier, I'd have some recollection of it.
You may have heard of an old show called Secret Agent Man, you definitely heard the theme song.
It was very successful & the main actor wanted to stop doing that show, & then produced this show about a unnamed Secret Agent Man who tried to retire but is kidnapped & taken to a retirement community of international spies.
The whole show is very 60s trippy. Once they got the ax it’s debatable if they even tried to make sense out of it.
The you are number 6 line is NOT from a Metallica song

That said here is an update from that kickstarter I backed.
The Butler, in 3D, ready to serve and ready to rebel along with No1... ahem, we mean No6. We are thrilled to see how he is coming together.
Speaking of The Butler and Chimes of Big Ben... we had some conversations with the factory on how to get that umbrella into the box! Looks like we are going to include it disassembled... the handle with fit into the canopy after you open it (*some assembly required as they used to say).
How fun, this giant striped umbrella will be lurking behind No2 and the Butler in the box.

This is the second wave of prisoner figures plus they did the Nancy Drew figures.
My guess is they will keep producing figures if they can get the rights (aka cheap) They make very nitch products.

V-V... I'm just being nosey, but are you old enough to remember this show from its origin or did you grow up watching it in reruns on some obscure cable channel?
As a de facto 50s-60s-70s tv rerun nerd as a kid, I still can't figure out why I've never heard of it before you brought it up. Is it British or something?

It was not a show that you would have seen on re-runs definitely not on American television. In fact it was canceled before all the episodes aired.
it was one of those A friend found this subsersive show on VHS check it out.
It’s fairly trippy & very 60s. I’m not even sure the markers knew what was going on.
patrick mcgoohan did a show called Secret Agent Man, which you probably heard of.
He didn’t want to do that show for various reasons & did this show as a secret spin off, later when lawyers got involved it wasn’t a spin off.
Fans debated for years if it was the same character.
The show is kinda of a mess due to whatever drugs they were using.
But it’s a great show/movie concept that I hope gets updated one day.
