Guy's a twat. Nothing short of that. I realize his issues for getting irritated, but you don't just have to always close threads. Clean them up, it's called "moderation".

We have people bitch over here, too. No reason to omit the negatives so long as they're in the right thread. If "feedback" comments are made in the suggestion thread, infract multiple offenders or ban them, or move the comments to the feedback thread. Don't just close it because you're lazy or like to play Goderator.
Granted, if I had to police HT, it'd drive me nuts, and I'd probably become a dick, too. Which is why I'd never want to be a mod there. The site has too much traffic and too many idiots to patrol effectively (or at least, easily). But shit, they have close to 3 dozen mods, don't they? At least 3-4 for the customs section, alone. We have what, 3-4 mods here, and 3 admins for the whole damned site?
Shit gets a tad heated here, sometimes. But the guys patrol themselves, for the most part. I think it's better to leave up the evidence of someone being an ass. Usually, they come back later and regret it, anyways. They can either edit it themselves, or ask to have it removed.
I've only moved comments to appropriate threads, or deleted duplicate posts. I have given joke infractions less than 10 times, and overall, we've banned maybe 3 users here due to post content. (2 were bots/spammers, if I'm not mistaken.)
No reason to be an asshole about it.
We get into disagreements from time to time over here but we "interknow" each other where as on the Stank you have no idea who's going to send you more stupid mail and call you names. For example, Maraudergate.
They close threads for the most minor things on the whole network. On Toyark people would discuss Marvel comics & movies in the Marvel picture thread. Of course when discussions start they tend to go off topic. For some reason that upset the moderators there so much.

On another note: Jesse has all those turtlenecks, and a ton of headwraps and such that I've given him. I imagine they're not done yet because he's got orders that still need to go out, so no new molds until he's caught up.

I shipped something to London not so long ago, and it took 3 months to arrive. Once it GOT to England it moved fine...it took 3 months for the US Postal Service to GET it there.

I just sent something to the UK and it went Priority mail. Still took a while and now there is a customs tariff they have to pay.

Nah, customs over here send ransom notes as soon as the steal your stuff to make sure you pay.
One time I took the package from the postman and slammed the door in his face when he asked for a $100 customs fee. I guess I wasn't the only one to do that as it's all about the ransom letter these days.

I talk to him every few days or so...seems like he is getting healthier and he is still working hard to get all the back orders filled...
I talked with him last night. He said he was focusing on filling old orders and has lots of new stuff that will be up in the store next month or so.

I like Jesse, but I think it's fair to say he got in way over his head very quickly and was a bit overwhelmed. I know the feeling of waiting, I just hope he comes through for you guys who're still waiting on stuff.
Jesse is not posting anything new until he is officially caught up. He has much of the stuff people sent in molded...but he is focusing on the back orders yet. I spoke to him on the phone Tuesday night while he working - he had planned to work late into the night that night on more orders.
He is working on stuff and dealing with the Post Office's issues. In order to make sure everything is delivered correctly he now personally takes them to the PO counter and makes them scan them while he waits...
I am confident everything will get to everyone and when he starts putting out new product, his site already has inventory control so we cannot order more than he has.
What I don't get is that he told me my stuff was ready to ship months ago but he didn't have the money.
Except he told me...twice, that my parts were molded and he was going to send my parts back.
And I need those parts because some of them go to figures I want to sell.
He asked what my order was a while back, twice. Twice I've sent him my info & I am still waiting.
