Nice combo!...nice job on the subtle weathering too...

At first I hated the looks of the ball jointed hips, but in hand, I love them...they really do wonders for ninja poseability...and the articulated wrists and ankles are godsends!

I was unsure about the ball articulation until I had the figure in hand too. Now I think it's better than the usual articulation and really compliments the rocker ankles nicely.

This is a great ninja base.

Thanks, Eddie! If only I had factory Resolute rocker feet, so I wouldn't have to make my own! Although... it's easy to do at least.

Should just be drilling a whole at an angle towards the toe. That's what it looks like it is on Ren. Scarlett.

True, but you have to create the foot "slot", and add the swivel joint to the lower leg. For this guy, I used Retaliation SS hands for the new ankle parts.

Sounds like a lot more work than I'd generally be wont to do.

Well, in my defense, it was probably because it was SW, and I didn't even bother looking...love the movies, couldnt care less about the toys

It's really easy though. Takes me about 20 min to make a set.

I'll be trying it on some combat boots soon enough. Much needed all-around, imo.

Tutorial! I may try it if/when the Black Dragon Ninja gets released and I'm doing Tacticool Slice.

Lol. I've been trying to decide which mustached head would be perfect for Cole.

Club Footloose has the right (police that) mustache, but not the right face shape.

I think the only thing the rocker feet are missing is the ankle twisting of the regular ankle joints. I know it's not natural but these things need a little more unnatural to make up for the fact they are 100% hard plastic.

I've wanting to design double jointed elbow pieces but then every forearm needs to be cut down to keep them from looking like an ape. It's pretty unattractive unless you plan on sculpting over

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, the bicept swivel on the MU figures needs to also be added to Joes

The swivel in the upper leg/hip takes care of the natural turning ability. And yes... ape arms are not attractive.

I think I'm the only one that isn't a fan. Our shoulders aren't spheres. If they found a way to keep the swivel while maintaining an arm pit, I'd be on board. But then, when they do add articulation to Joes that were previously in MU figures, it's always higher quality with improvements.

Like the Amazon hip joints. Whoever was the knucklehead that thought to plug the joint up into the abdomen probably works for Mattel now.

So when they decide to give joes MU joints, the shoulders won't be balls and the elbows will be inject molded.

I just think the bicept swivel makes the bicept LOOK better...the added articulation is just a bonus, however unnatural it is....

Blame the sculpt for the MU shoulder balls. They don't have to be spherical. As for natural, your arm doesn't twist from the elbow to begin with. It's more of an aesthetics thing for most toys.

Since when does fetishes involve shrinking things down? I'm sure Rex Ryan would prefer a foot the size of large pizza to one that's the size of a dime.

Come on. If you're going to have a fetish at least have a little bit of self respect.
