This is a commissioned piece I am almost done with...the client is trying to decide on the 50 mounted on the hood or not.

What do you all think?

Looks good, the color is on the dark side(model master enamel spray color darktan is a VERY good match to the original ) but still looks really good!

I think the gun looks a little high for that window. Would be real nice if the hood was lower. Everything looks nice and clean though. A hair dark but no big deal. It came out good.

Thanks. The gun is high I agree - but to clear the edge of the rollcage that is how I had to do it...I think it may be best not installed. But that is up to the owner.

I think it would look better without the 50.cal. But as you say, it's up to the customer. other than that though, I think it looks great. very smooth and clean. I actually like the darker color a little better.

Thanks guys. I appreciate you taking the time to give me feedback. The customer dislikes desert vehicles so I erred on the darker side. He really likes it and that is most important.

It's commissioned, so what he wants is what he gets. To bad there isn't a way to roof mount it. I know It's a rocket launcher. Maybe a second vehicle with a 50 on top.

The jeep has a place for a couple troops to ride in the back (footpegs even) so one could mount a 50 with some armor around it perhaps. I had toyed with picking one of these up for my own custom...I still may but I am leaning towards the 6 wheeled captain america truck with the harley...I have not seen anyone do anything with that yet.
