Big Boa(Bigger Boa):
Head, gloves - FSS Big Boa
The rest - MU Hercules
"Bigger" Boa will be my first foray into sculpting, so suggestions of a good medium would be appreciated. I plan on giving him shorts, and building up the feet a bit as boots. I may try working the bracers on his arms down to bare arms if I think I can cut them down carefully enough to make it look natural.

Man, and I thought the club BB was huge...if I can ever find Hercs, I'll be trying something similar...though nothing to the BB that can't be undone...
I was of the same mind. That's why I shaved the neckball down instead of doing anything to the Big Boa head. Everything is reversible. And whatever sculpt work I do will be on the Hercules body, not the Big Boa parts.
The head's actually not that bad. It's not as small as you think it is, but I can see what you mean.
I've never understood the character of Big Boa.

OpFor for a Rocky figure that didn't materialize, and instead of doing th right thing and scrapping the project they released it so that 25 years later man-children can bitch about it's merits, or lack there-of.
I think it has none and was released where it belongs.

Agreed. He also needs better posts from the shoulders because on both my Hercules figures, a slight twist has the arm popping away from the bicep with no trouble.
looking great. Your making me want to go out and get this guy. I saw two last week at TRU. Also saw some really short unarticulated wrestler looking guy for ten bucks. Haha. Probably still there.
I was thinking I had a Herc with a bad right peg but I'm heartened to hear it's an inherent design flaw.
Yeah.. Herc's a great base figure for big strong-man customs(probably would make a better Road Pig base than Night Adder/Roadblock, too), but the arms kill me. I suppose I should consider it small and inconsequential considering it could have much worse design flaws.
You know, I have a Herc body that I had plans of making into a Road Pig but I have found that the head looks a little tiny on that body and finding the pads to fit is a bitch too. I even have the SDS Road Pig parts that I bought from someone here...can't remember but even they are a lil too small

Yeah, I know... But, the torso is bigger than the baroness one, and that made the 25th legs look ridiculously thin.
