You should all have dio tables in the center of the room.

Shame on all of you and your weak ass excuses!!

Look what my poor ass has to deal with!

And for those of you who have asked what i use for lighting, well there it is.

It puts the lotion in the bucket.

Mine is pretty cluttered right now, actually, it has been for a few years. Can't really work on it as you can see so I usually work on stuff on the dinner table or at work. In my defense, I have to share the room with the washer/dryer and lots of clothes.

Here's mine...

Oh...shit...you meant custom workspace. With three kids, it's where ever I can find an open spot in the house. Sometimes, that means the floor.

I love the drop lamp you have there! Is it sad that I am envious of even that? I so have to move to a better house...

A little bit of everything. Stuff I listened to in the 80's up to more present stuff like Marilyn Manson, Wumpscut, Three Mile Pilot, Nine Inch Nails, Tool, some sound tracks...it's all over the place.
And I still listen to some of them! I'm too lazy to replace them with CD's.

Damn brother!!! Did they use to hang witches in there???:)---RED---

Here's mine - and boy, have I got it GOOD! About three months ago, I moved the workbench out of our house and into the teaching studio (art & music) my wife and I operate. We had 1/2 of a room that is not used too much during the week, so I took up occupancy. I've never been able to stretch out like this - everything is right there where and when I need it - I couldn't ask for more! This could spoil me!

I also threw in a few pix of my display at home (hope no one minds). That's our living room/office. I keep it neat & dusted, so my wife (who doesn't collect) will be pleased and supportive. The kids LOVE it - we have mostly boys and to them, it's like a museum/toy store/class room. They're constantly asking to take down this or that figure and draw/color it. They also get into customizing and kit-bashing stuff, just like their old man! They cut up old socks, use duct tape, toothpicks - whatever - to make straps, vests, swords, etc. Gotta love it!

That's possibly the worst paint you could use for this hobby.

Pfft. I used it for years with no issues. It works fine. And if it gives him the results he likes, who the fuck is anyone to tell him different.

What if he doesn't know about the better results given by other paints?

Indeed. In fact they probably make you a better painter as you have to learn to work about their shortcomings.

Aside from the 2 Testros bottles I picked up I use those shitty paints exclusively, and fuck it, I'll say it, I do better work than a lot of guys using Tamiya, Citadel and Testors.

. . . Unless it's me using it. Hey, look: I know ahead of time that I'll take some heat for using these paints. Except for bigger, styrene type things (for which I like Krylon or Testors sprays) - I've been using Folk Art for figures; wood, plaster, Sculpey, etc., exclusively since '02 - and - with GREAT success. Just look at my work! Thing is, we all know the old proverb re: a workman and his tools. Just sayin'.

What if he doesn't care.
Hey, thanks for the defense - but, I do care - of course I care!

I play nice with others, I really do! So, we're all gonna be like little Fonzies here. And what's Fonzie like? Come on red4, what's Fonzie like?

Yes . . . the Pee-Wee figure. Isn't the definition of "doll" that you can undress it? Meaning that you can strip it down to it's skivvies?. Since PW has only one layer, his jacket, which can be removed, revealing only his white dress shirt underneath, I don't think "dollie" applies. So, you're good. Remember, after the scandal of '91 how these things went on clearance everywhere for, like, .97¢?

The dog is from Fisher Price's Little People from back in '68, I think. Talk about hard, pipe-hittin' old skool! Look out!

Keep in mind Hasbro coined the term "action figure" to get boys to play with G.I. Joe dolls.
