Dollar General figures showing up

That's one way of looking at it, but I would think it's too soon to "give up." There's a DG in the same plaza as my gym...I've been checking every couple days. A full set finally showed up 2 days ago. The release of these figures are slow and regional, but I think it's much too early to say they're rare.

And I would think that DG is very much noticing this sudden run for these figures. I'd put good money on restocking in the near future.

I just pulled the trigger on a set of 6 on eBay for $65 shipped. Lowest I've seen, and not as awful as some of the jackasses on there. Close to $11 each, but I don't have to deal with searching for them again as a set. I'm still on the lookout for multiples of the Duke, Shipwreck and black officer, though.

For the people who are paying big bucks for a case of these, it may not be so much the "gotta have it now" mentality, but more of an inability to buy these due to a lack of having Dollar Generals in their area.
And as some here have stated, they'd rather buy a case on-line rather than have to drive around endlessly, wasting gas, time and competeing with other fans and/or scalpers.

Hell, look what I posted earlier. Three DG's in my area that had the figures were completely out in eight days. There's no way that happend with just kids finding these and buying them on a whim.

Well I was going to be in NC in a few weeks visiting family but this saves me from being obnoxious on that trip and keeps me from wasting time and gas and sanity driving from DG to DG. We definitely won't be getting them at DGs out here since we don't have the stores!

Mostly eastern, but they did start to show up here in Nashville & Clarksville this week. Only found 1 SS or SE in the five stores I looked at in South Nashville (Antioch, LaVergne included). If you call 615-855-4000 you can get in contact with the invetory department and they can look up your area (have to have UPC). Then they can direct you to closest store (was even told they could hold per 2 store managers - 2nd was were I finally snagged SE & SS).

One set per store would easily cover a production run of 10,000/per figure.

At one store, they refilled the peg with ROC combat heroes. Blerg...

I'm guessing they didn't anticipate the demand. Not only are they better looking and cheaper than most retaliation figures, but the delay means that DG joes are pretty much all we will get all year.

I got a full set yesterday in a itty-bitty one horse town yesterday. From the sound of it they just showed up in a shipment, they had no allotted peg for them so the clerk said she just put them on a shelf and figured someone would find them.


They're in the dark as much as we are.

I've thought about asking if they received any at the other stores that have'nt pegged any yet, but I'm worried they'll either brush me off or tell me they don't have any when they really do.

I have never trusted the word of employees when asking about "items in the back".
