I didn't check any of my non-existent DGs today too.
I'm curious if these will wind up at other places. Some jerkoffs are charging $100 for the 6 on eBay as "Dollar General exclusives". My bet is they wind up at several places, and DG is the first to launch. Besides the two (read: may as well not bother) Family Dollars here, the likeliest of places would be maybe a drugstore (like maybe CVS?), Big Lots, or DD's Discount. But I'm not banking on them showing up at many of those around here. I think they'll wind up somewhere else though, just due to the fact that they're a cheaper series, and I would bet they were produced in a halfway decent number, or why bother... (?)
It's almost always the later waves of movie lines that have the best figures. They're also the ones that are hardest to find. Yay!
Found a third set today. Each store seems to just get a single case of 1x each figure.
I guess I'm more excited about later waves with Flint and Lady Jaye, but The Rock and an uninspired CC just don't work for me. And another SE & SS... Ugh, I don't even flinch when they release new ones. After "Ultimate" two-head SE, I don't need to buy another one of that guy ever again.
But I agree, the movie looks far better than RoC, but the figures are still wallowing in their own half-assery.
If I had known there was an ST to be had I would have pained myself by buying the Stormshadow.
I'd have to see some examples of your work.
Reminds me, Rex, you said I should bug you to ship those heads that you apparently had someone else paint for me a few weeks ago.
FUCK! I need to just ship those. I was planning to do more photography on the RnR head since SDS is all but a wish at this point... I'll bag em up. PM me your address. I kept your envelope with the return address but who knows where I put it.
