Dollar General figures showing up

I didn't check any of my non-existent DGs today too. 
I'm curious if these will wind up at other places. Some jerkoffs are charging $100 for the 6 on eBay as "Dollar General exclusives". My bet is they wind up at several places, and DG is the first to launch. Besides the two (read: may as well not bother) Family Dollars here, the likeliest of places would be maybe a drugstore (like maybe CVS?), Big Lots, or DD's Discount. But I'm not banking on them showing up at many of those around here. I think they'll wind up somewhere else though, just due to the fact that they're a cheaper series, and I would bet they were produced in a halfway decent number, or why bother... (?)

Yeah, I want to believe there were more produced then just a vanity pressing for a few DG stores.
Heaven forbid they produce figures people actually want to buy.
Admittedly, these are the first new releases Joe has seen in a while, but is it just me... I'm way more excited about Black Officer and Green Duke than I am any of the retaliation figures.

For all the great shit we've seen from preproduction and trailers for the movie the (at least initial) waves of Retaliation figures are wholly lackluster. Be it because of articulation tomfoolery, half-assed frankenfigures that have no resemblance to their movie counterparts, or yet another round of BADL® (Patent Pending) that even "cripple" a figure's playability they just are.

I guess I'm more excited about later waves with Flint and Lady Jaye, but The Rock and an uninspired CC just don't work for me. And another SE & SS... Ugh, I don't even flinch when they release new ones. After "Ultimate" two-head SE, I don't need to buy another one of that guy ever again.
But I agree, the movie looks far better than RoC, but the figures are still wallowing in their own half-assery.

It's almost always the later waves of movie lines that have the best figures. They're also the ones that are hardest to find. Yay!
That seems to be the case here. I went to all five of the DG's in my area, three had the figures, one assortment with one of each figure, no variants.
Also, make sure you look all over the toy isle at DG. I went to two that had them in a spot that was kinda out of the way. One had them stuck in a NERF football display on a bottom shelf...well away from the other action figures.

LJ is a new head on a (poorly) repainted Renegades Scarlett body.
I like the Scarlett base, but it's not even remotely accurate. I'd like Rockblock a lot better if he wasn't gimped and taking an articulation hit. Still gonna get one and build a bad ass fireteam MGer.
I'm stoked for the initial RB, one or two of those 3-packs, one Joe trooper, and maybe a few red ninjas. Besides that? Nothing previewed so far till we get to much later waves. Which will never show.
Checked one DG yesterday...an out of the way one tha I'd likely never be by otherwise...nothing...

The Cobra Officer in Black Uniform and Short-Fuze figures are definitely the ones I want the most.
I know the card says Duke, but that is and forever will be Short-Fuze to me!

Anyone runs across either the Duke, Shipwreck, black officer, SE or Storm Shadow (regular versions) or the variants of Duke, Shipwreck, blue officer, or SE and don't want them, I'll trade a Shock Trooper for one, or $10 for any extras of any you find, if you don't want them.

Rex's work is like color by numbers without the numbers. You may want to get a first grader to do that up for you instead KT.
