Are they ever going to make Endor Commando Leia? I want one of those. It'd be nice if she wasn't a midget too.

I'm waiting for this Leia to come out:

Most of this line looks pretty good. Until then, I haven't seen any SW figures I'm currently interested in.

One day Hasbro will get Leia right. She won't be a midget, or look like a monkey. She'll actually look like Carrie Fisher. One day, I just know it.

Which one? I should have a Fett blaster rifle, but I can't promise a specific version.

I have a Boba Fett with a gun from that "awkward surprise at Bespin" battle pack from way back when.

Some of the figures have been on Amazon. $12.99 a pop...not bad in the long run.

TVC is going on hiatus because Hasbro foisted a bunch of horseshit into the waves with figures that people actually wanted. The horseshit, in many cases, actually accounted for 75 percent of the wave.

I have yet to go to a store that isn't flooded with TVC Pre-quel trash priced at 10+ dollars a figure.

No one, and I mean NO ONE, is going to pay 10+ dollars for all those pre-quel figures on vintage cards.

Instead of releasing garbage that was doomed to fail, they should have released actual vintage figures on VTC cards:

Snow Trooper, AT-AT Driver, Hoth Rebel Trooper bearded variant, Lobot, Tiree, Nett and Porkins (Yavin), Imperial Astromech Droid, Imperial Death Star Droid, AT-ST Driver, Wedge Antilles' Astromech Droid, etc....

At least one Snow Trooper was released in TVC, but yeah, prequel figures don't belong on those cards.

Yes, he was part of the initial run of the Vintage Collection, and I have one.

Would have been nice to see another release filtered in there with a new body sculpt, much like the treatment was given to the recent release of the Death Star Trooper.

Death Star Trooper looks much, much better in his latest sculpt, but he is really hard to find.

Would love to see a new release of Death Star Gunner as well.

Oddly...many have...myself included.

Snow Trooper was released in the VTAC line. AT-AT Driver was released in the fist wave of VC. It's listed as a Commander...but it works for some people. Tiree and Porkins both came out in the Pilot multipacks...and neither deserve a Vintage card. AT-ST Driver is coming out in a two pack later this year at K-Mart. And no Astromech ever needs to be released on a single card. It's a waste of a slot in whatever line they have at the time.

Good for you. Not quite sure how that crap justified taking upwards of 60-70 percent of an entire wave of vintage card figure releases.

K-Tiger and I already had a conversation on Snow Trooper. I followed him up with the idea of seeing a new sculpt for Snow Trooper released on a vintage card, much like the recent Death Star Trooper release. AT-AT Driver was never released on a vintage cardback. The 2009 sculpt was excellent, but should have been put on a vintage card over this pre-quel crap. Same treatment should have been applied to the Yavin pilots.

Tiree and Porkins both came out in the Pilot multipacks...and neither deserve a Vintage card.

Whatever you say, pre-quel boy.

And no Astromech ever needs to be released on a single card. It's a waste of a slot in whatever line they have at the time.

Bullshit. I will take an R2Q5 or R4I9 ANY DAY on a vintage cardback over pre-quel garbage. Pre-quel crap is what most likely made a significant contribution to the end of the vintage cardback line.

While I'm sure there are fans of the "vintage" prequel figures, there is no denying that either by hasbro distribution issues or gross unpopularity, there are a crapload of $10 "vintage" prequel figures clogging shelves at virtually every retail location that carries these.

I just got back from vacation, and along the way I stopped at a ton of WM, Target, and TRU's in a three state area... and man, they were chock-full of peg-clogging prequel figs.

I think Big-H grossly overestimated the appeal/demand on those.

I saw the droid transport at WM yesterday for $130. I was tempted since I see custom potential for my alt-uni, but it's $30 too much to have 16 of the droids being static.

Yeah I remember something about that. Still, just for old time's sake he should drop in occasionally. Garrison, Slither, Pratt... even if they get busy, the old-timers should at least treat this place like a non-custodial kid and say hi one weekend a month ;)

Slither and garrison spend their time on FB these days and Pratt is at SSHQ.

I bought the Endor version of the AT-ST today after being surprised by the low price of $35. I remember the Walmart one costing me over $45 after taxes. Anyways, the paint is much better than the other versions I've seen except for the overly red mud the feet were dipped in. Nice to finally have one in grey again to go with my AT-AT.

Joints and plastic seem different, but overall I think it is a better version. Airbrushing and wash is spectacular for off the shelf. The muddy feet will require some attention.

Watch for them to go back up on Amazon. $12.99 a pop isn't too bad considering they're in a online only wave.

You guys must have some kind of magical Walmart where things actually lower in price when they go on clearance. My store simply throws a red tag on it with the full price.

Mine is the same, it's really only the after Christmas clearence that is any good. Unfortunately I don't see January '13's being any good.
