Finally finished Prime. So Friday and Sunday I'll be taking final pics, and Dio shots. Any shot suggestions are welcome.
Smashing buildings or throwing Hasbro vehicles would be cool...some bloody stepped on troopers would be sick!

I can do that. Just have to get Megatron finished. So Movie shots could go with his Dio pics.
In other news....
I added almost 2 inches to the chest making Prime 2 16". So that brings him to 24' in 1:18th. I'm really happy with the height now. I'm thinking about going with this scale instead of continuing the 24" versions. I think this size is much more Dio and play friendly. This would also allow me to make more characters since I could use the Transformer bust heads.
Still have to paint his windshield and add his Autobot symbols. Also get him a weapon/weapons.
What do you think?

It does look more play friendly for sure...but what was so cool about the other larger ones was accuracy...quite the wow factor ya know?
I totally agree. I could do another that looks like the MP version, but I doubt I will at this point. I've had enough Prime with these two.
Worked some more on Prime 2. Got his Autobot symbols, repositioned the chest and started his weapon....
Got my 16" version of Optimus Prime finished....

Thanks. Now I'm going back and forth on doing an 18" MP version. I love the size of this 16" one over the 24" one.

That is the original Voltron. I've had that since it was new.
Tomorrow I hope to get final shots of both the 24" Megatron and Prime. Then start either a 16" Megatron or Ironhide. Not sure which I want to do first.

Pretty sure there was a die cast Voltron that predates that one (because I had the die cast one for a year before a friend of mine got that one).
Could be. I have several smaller ones. But this is the first I recall that transformed, and could hold 3 3/4" figures. I'll have to check the date on this one tomorrow.
I agree, but I had several of those from another project. Guess I could always paint over the keyboard.
Checked the names and dates- Voltron was made in 1984 (Also found this. I'd forgotten when the show started- Voltron premiered on September 10, 1984) and the vehicle was made in 1999 by a company called Funrise.
