The hammer head comes from one of the McFarlane Conan figures, the shaft is a bamboo skewer and the pommel is an airgun dart minus "fur". I never liked any of the traditional depictions of Mjolnir. I thought it would be better as a maul/warhammer, and Thor could still throw the motherlover.


I'd think the head would look nice cast in a pale transparent blue.

Palisades' Army of Darkness line. I dunno about Syn's experience with them, but most folks I know found them on the fragile side. I know Palisades had a lot of breakage complaints.

Really kind of miss the Chap Mei stuff. I know you can get the sets, and the occasional, badly-executed bootleg, but they don't have the charm of the $1 single carded figures. Such and ecclectic mix of subjects. Sure the articulation is limited, and they only paint the front side of a figure.


They're really the modern equivalent of Adventure People.
