Yep. They're roughly 1/16. (5 inch scale)

There was a Primeval toy line, but I think it's been discontinued. Don't quote me on that, though.
Acording to K-Tiger, they weren't available in the US. I never saw them in Australia either, and had to go through Evilbay.

Fled is correct, to my knowledge they did not make it Stateside. Then again the show came on BBCA here, and I believe ScyFy was running it occasionally. No real chance to build a following among kids.
