In a completely serious way (even though I know who is quoted here...) ever since my wife was pregnant with our second child, I've had the worse gag reflex in the world. Ugh. Bad smells, thinking of not being able to breath...it makes me start dry heaving, and then the coughing starts...coupled with my asthma...makes me a fun guy to take to parties.

Talked to a employee at DG today. Their assistant manager has found out about the exclusiveness of the figures, so he's been buying the cases and selling them on ebay (overpriced of course). I don't see how this can even be allowed!

Definitely get some kind of corporate number and report it...it's based on rumor, but I'm sure they'll at least look into it...and then the district managers will become scalplers :D

What happened was first I asked an employee if they had the figures in back, he straight asked me "are you after the ones that only we sell?" I was shocked so I told him yes. He then went on to tell me that the assistant manager buys every case and overprices them on ebay. He then asked if I was going to do the same.

That sorta shit bothers me.

IF its true and the corporate office cares enough, they could investigate the guy and see that he is indeed scalping them and he could get fired...

An employee at my job got fired for a similar situation...

One of my local walmart a few years ago had signs in the toy section stating all employees cannot buy toys on days they are scheduled without leaving work first and returning. I thought the sign was odd but always figured it was because someone their was scalping and got caught. if walmart corporate cares, I bet DG does as well.

Cool. Mine had Shipwreck, CC, and "Duke." Only had enough for one, so I got Shippy. Though I had to look for him; either it fell or someone tried to hide it.

Was hoping more for a Stormy or Officer, but I'm glad I was able to find Shipwreck. :D

I asked about the Genesis today. The guy told me they were holding them back for Black Friday. I want it just for the Streets of Rage games. I loved that series. If only Revenge of Shinobi had made the list.

I did find a set of the DG figs minus the Cobra Trooper. I grabbed Storm Shadow and Shipwreck.

Man... I love walking into my nearest DG for coffee, and finding yet another Cobra trooper and SS. That makes 3 x for that location, while the next 2 nearest have been 2 x.

I swear I'm the only one in my area hitting these stores. Not that I'm complaining.

I didn't get it, but if its the same ring as wwe/rocky figures, it works OK with Joes but not to scale unless to mod the ropes. I used mind for a stage for Cold Slither. (Yes I'm still working on that although its been on hiatis for a year)

I hope it is not that big...

Though, to be in 'scale' with the joes, the ring would be about 11.5" x 11.5"
