Finally got around to repainting the face on my 1/10-ish NECA Lara Croft (TR Underworld version).
I got her loose on eBay with no weapons, so I gave her Chap Mei pistols for her holsters and MP5s to dual-wield.
I still have the classic Lara and the TR Legend Lara to repaint. They're considerably easier to paint than the tiny 1/18 heads.

A few pics of my updated 1/6 "tactical" Lady Jaye and Scarlett (really just a mishmash of parts and gear slapped together to make a half-assed "custom").
That LJ hair seems a tad unruly. Have you tried something like hairspray to hold it down a little? Other than that, they both look great... And I'm not even into dolls!

It's actually fake rabbit fur hot-glued onto a bald head. It doesn't like being styled, unfortunately.
LJ was originally a 1/6 version of my wife, and her hair is short and unruly too - just the way she likes it. And she's flattered that I "cast" her as LJ.

That's the only issue I see too, along with the cap on her...looks a little plasticy...

Agreed it's amazing how a coat of paint brings out the detail in those things...
A detail often overlooked, even I'm guilty but I try to do better each time.

Her face kinda reminds me of that vintage pornstar ,Christy Canyon. You gotta arch her back at least so she can look as sexy as Ctrl_Z's Zarana. Get a side shot of her titties and ass. Cool custom!
