Last week, for $6, I got this set at Dallor General:

The figure sucked, the folding wall is OK, and none of the weapons are to the same scale. But they were useful no less.

I really needed some better weapons for my Kamandi figure (I'm a big fan of the old Jack Kirby comic). So I got an Uzi and Colt revolver for him. My Duke Nukem needed a second MP5 (just not the same with only one). I also got a rucksack, two pistols, and a M249 LMG for my Joe/Cobra figures. And the wall makes for cool background scenery. I gave the figure to my nephew.

They also have one with a Joe-size 4-wheeler:

They ended up selling the customs on eBay, I remember that for sure...I'll see if I can find them.

I hope someday the DGs in our towns get the alternate Joe figures. We all have our own ideas for customs and kit-bashes. I for one want that alternate duke so I can kit-bash a proper figure of Breaker together. I don't want him to be stuck using beachheads body forever like Low-Light currently is.

Today in my little town, a now Dollar Tree opened up. This is a big thing here, as the nearest one is 30 miles away, and you have to drive across a winding gorge. Well, I was picking through some prepackaged comics — each with a pair of old comic books and an old trading card — I found G.I.Joe Special Missions #4 (the one with Lifeline hanging in a tree with some Ruskies looking for him), and then I found G.I.Joe #1. I was like "WOW! I have been looking for this issue (RAH #1)!" and "This is the first time I found something good from these!". So yeah, it was a good find! =D You can usually find them near the cashiers, among the collector cards, and they are called Super Hero Comic Book Spectacular.

DG Joes are populating the shelves in almost every DG in my area. I can already see that Cobra Commander and Snake Eyes are the peg clots in this line as I only saw 1 SS one Black Trooper, and one Duke. There were a few Ship Wrecks lazying around too. I think the ones without assault rifles are not as popular (SS being an exception)

I just got some Christmas $ from my Aunt so I'm going to blow it off on another Duke and a Ship Wreck.

My Dollar General has set out it's 5th set since I've bought out the last set. But once again Storm Shadow and Trooper were gone. That's 3 of 5 sets that those figures were gone. Either kids just happen to like those figures or a scalper keeps hitting my store. I know many of the Wisconsin collectors so the chances of a collector being the one picking them is low. I don't care about Storm Shadow and would leave it on pegs anyway, but I'm glad I got at least 2 of the Troopers. I've cleared out all but Snake Eyes again. So now there are two of them on the pegs. I wonder if they will restock again?

I need like 6 of those green Ship Wrecks. 4 to replace the steel brigade, 2 for Steeler and Clutch and maybe a 7th one for a possible Sparks custom. I think I only need one dark Duke for Breaker.

I hope the KY stores get them soon, or ever at all.
