Question for ARAH fags since I already know the answer from MUTs...
Should I paint the straps and pouches (aside from the ones on shoulders that I will match to the ARAH counterpart) black to blend into the figure more to resemble the ARAH counterpart more? Or should I leave them the same color as the shoulder portions?

Sakura makes them. You used to find them everywhere but now they're pretty much relegated to Michael's, Hobby Lobby, or Johann's.
I've found them to be a lot easier for dotting eyes because they don't dry up on the way to the eye like brushes. For lids, I lightly touch under the edge with kind of the side.

Might as well go whole-hog.....
Only issue with him is...he's shortpacked...and he's an army builder. At this point though, I think there might be a decrease on him on eBay as they released a 'best of' case of Vintage figures, and he was one.

I don't know about that being IDW Chuckles. The hair's too slick. IDW Chuckles just has short hair.

I know exactly how you feel...I've always been horrible at it...
Too bad there's not a character with an untucked shirt since it would be easy for Hasbro to just make it part of the lower torso mold...or it could be a vest style shirt like Prof Xs
I think I've got an idea of how to remedy this it's just when I have time to do it.
I wish I'd grabbed one or two of those various Logans at the time. They got pretty cheap at some stores towards clearance time. I only picked up the Wolverine, and boy did it suck.

I grabbed a few of them, but not many, Their height drove me crazy and prevented me from getting alot. Some would have been good for civilians.
I keep waiting on a SDCC "civilians" set for Marvel. My God, that would rock. They could do 2-3 variants in different flesh tones and tampo on most of the art to create 15-20 combinations.
That would be awesome! I would try to buy a minimum of 2 sets if that happened. One for keepers and one set to zombie up. I rarely buy 2 of any set. Just singles.
I know it sounds dumb and would probably be an awful seller at retail, but at Comic-Con?
Nerds would fucking go wild about it. It's niche, silly, but also cool. Customizers would flip out.
Even as a child, I wanted "perpetrators" that my heroes could fight. Terrorists, robbers, cops, construction workers, generic army men, damsels-in-distress, firemen, a random kid or two, scientists/engineers... The wish list could go on for days. Basically, someone to hold hostages, and be held hostage. Spider-Man doesn't always fight super-villains, does he?
Weapon X with some zombie heads in some clear pods like the Star Wars Bacta Tank would be awesome for some Zombie holding tanks.

I hear ya. I got lucky and had a few figures as a kid that passed as my civilians. My grandma always got me obscure 3 3/4 action figures I never saw in stores. Some of the best gifts I ever got. She got me some of the Wrangler figures and a Magnum PI with his Ferrari one year. I loved that Ferrari. Lost about every piece I could off of it but it still was involved in every battle. lol
I remember seeing the Chips figures once and wanted them bad to be my police. But mom said no.
The actual TRU Weapon X "lab" set (with the water tank submersion thing) was pretty awesome, but I got the single-carded one. I wish I'd gotten at least 2 of that set, but at the time I wasn't into dios.
Trying to decide if this needs any color changes before proceeding. Not a fan of the color I'm currently using on the web gear.
Yeah, and it was even rotated wrong.
So this a WIP on my Steeler. I asked this at one point, but does anyone have any ideas on what those wrist pieces are? Or what you pretend they are? I love the joe trooper arms until I have to figure out what they are. I was planning on trying make a couple decals for those.

That looks pretty great. I have no idea wtf those things are. I figured some sort of basic arm comm, or maybe GPS/GPS tracker?
On his wrists?...good question...I'm watching Transporter 3 and he has similar looking thing on his wrist, but it's a bomb 
I interviewed at a place that made them for SpecOps. Pretty cool. they read heart rate, gps, intel downloads video of drone images etc.
Every once and a while you might see a SpecOp photographed with one on.
My Trooper team I've painted one on each of them. Don't know why they have them on both wrists.
