not sure how many pencils or how long it took, I just so happened to have to empty our sharpener. We have one of those old school style wall mount ones. Before I dumped it, it occurred to me I could use it. What has drawn my curiosity is the way the shavings look. I'm going to ask my dad if any of his shop tools creates a waste in a similar shape instead of just saw dust. Maybe a planer, not sure. My dad makes enough stuff out of wood that I could have an infinite supply.

Bought my second Vamp. It's going to be a desert Recon for the Crusader Team. I want it to be open like the Land Rover Defenders. Still going to paint the cap and front cage. Debating on a minimal cage for the front and mount a gun on top or wide open so I can use the posts for the cage connection for side gun mounts. Guess I can do both. I got a bunch of Defender pics to model after I guess.

Here's my Trooper Command Vehichle. Did the paint, metal wear marks and black wash. Added some components to the interior. Attached a folding laptop and the Low Light Radio to go in the center console with working handset. Need to do the tan/dried mud wash then fresh mud splatter. Want to figure out how to mount the minni gun on top and want a gun for the front hood. debating on windows.

Is that finished?...no brake, reverse or blinkers in the rear?...aside from that dumb detail I noticed, I really like it...the paint wear is just as subtle as it needs to be...

This is the first stage of painting for a project I've been (sort of) working on for a while now.

So,

1. I DO like how it's turning out so far. The shades are exactly what I needed them to be, but-
2. I think I may need to water it down next time I use Citadel, even for a base coat. It's coming away as feeling a bit grainy and thicker than it probably should be.

Has anyone ever tried Temporary tattoos on vehicles. Do they work like waterslides, is that what a waterslide technically is? I got a bunch of retaliation cobra logos and thought I would use one on a vehicle. Gonna save one if it works for a 118th Trans-am. Put the logo where the eagle would be. Figure I would have to seal it.

I'd like to know how that works too Medd...I've used dry rub decals, but they for sure need to be clear coated over or they'll scratch off very easily...

Just tried it, I would say the only downfall would be the clear film around the image, if you could cut all he way around it, then it might look cool. Not sure how long it would last though.

Experimenting with a night camo alternative. Not completely satisfied because all of those lines are supposed to be a shade of grey between the black and medium grey and it's suppose to carry through the black. Obviously, can't find a grey marker worth a damn.

Just bought a 21st Century WWII Dodge WC51. So cool I had to have it as it was just sitting pretty at my Hobby shop. Going to work it into my story as a restored vehicle one of my Militia guys has and ends up using against the OWA.

I applied a temporary tattoo to a white guitar once. Worked pretty well.
