I was a tad bit disappointed in MP Ravage when I saw the first "in-hand" non-promotional pics. I still am, considering that the USB Ravage makes a damned fine Masterpiece Ravage in jaguar mode, has a movable jaw and probably more poseability than the MP version. But the USB (Device Label) Ravage is missing the hip rockets, and has a long tail that needs to be hinged. But all things considered, he's pretty awesome, still.

MP Ravage won some points when I saw that video though. His drawbacks are his size (I feel he ends up looking too small, as the hip rockets take up a good portion of his mass) and his jaw isn't articulated like the Device Label one, and I feel like they could've made his jaw hinged considering that Laserbeak has a tiny fucking camera that pops out of his head. But that transformation is pretty damned clever. Maybe more creative than Laserbeak.

I just broke down and ordered MP Ravage and "Rumble" (Frenzy, actually, cause he's fucking red and I live in America) from TFSource because a) they're in stock and b) I realized that the miniature Shockwave was in-stock for $11, which after the combined shipping was way cheaper than the $30 on eBay for the damned thing, and now I don't have to get the stupid other set with the "ghost" Starscream coronation set. Which means I cancelled my BBTS preorder for the same price, as they don't even have the cassettes in stock yet.

I still have to wait on blue Rumble, though, and that stupid Buzzsaw.

Also, l wish I could get ahold of that mini-Reflector that came with some of those Perfect Effect sets, and a PE-11 "Scout" set (the purple, Sunbow-one). Having Soundwave makes me really want those little goofy bastards, now, especially after rewatching some S1 episodes of the old 'toon.

To be fair, the bruticus is about 60% Hasbro anyway, so it was never a true 3P creation to begin with. Had they made him from scratch, it would look better even after all this time.

Well aware...but some people still rave about that outdated turd...and I'm sure had FP done him ground up he'd be spectacular...fixing Hasbros retail crap was a big mistake...though, to be fair, I think that was the best combiner to come along (even using ALL five Hasbro limbs) since the original G1 combiners...

Anyone else ordered from TF Source? I swear, I don't know how these sites can charge you for in-stock items, and not ship for 3-4 days or longer. I get not doing it same day, or even the next day, but after 3 days, it gets to be a tad ridiculous. Fucking ship it!

Not digging the yellow eyes on Soundwave... I wonder if they'll fix the faceplate issues? Mine came with a giant gash from the fucking mold sprue being cut off on the side of his face instead of behind that piece.

I want an MP-11 mold Skywarp. Unless Takara makes official Coneheads that are fucking amazing, I will likely skip anymore Seeker mold releases other than a new-mold Skywarp to match my Starscream and Thundercracker.

Until Megatron 2.0 comes out to complement MP-10, I'd say that MP-10 and Soundwave are the two "must-haves" of the line so far. Packaged all together, I'd definitely get the TRU one if I could find it and didn't already have the Japanese ones.

Maybe Grimlock, but he's got a few limitations due to the damned gimmicks they supplied him with (tail/head synch, light-up arm).

They'll be tiny. Alternators are better scaled with MP-01/04. These cars match MP-10's scale.

I don't know...do they?...I can't remember for sure, but it seems side by side they don't look scaled like a real semi and car would

The original promo images for MP-04 showed some of the Alternators fitting into the trailer. If a car is behind a semi, it's roughly the same scale. Maybe slightly smaller cars, but not the scale of the new cars. I think MP-01 will dwarf them.

There are faster cars, and more reliable cars, and more expensive cars, and cars that supposedly jump creeks/barns/deputy sheriffs, but I'm pretty sure there has never, nor will there ever be, a car that's just pure sex to look at the way that 80's Lambo is.

I just hope after we get these 3 that we get some variation in Autobots in one of 2 ways: more colors, or more vehicle types. As much as I want Jazz ASAP, someone like Hound, Trailbreaker/Grapple, Ironhide/Ratchet, Bumblebee/Sunstreaker would at least give us some variety.

Right now we have 2 car models and all the MP Autobots are red, white, black, or blue. Just a solid military green Jeep, or bright yellow car like Bee or Sunstreaker would help diversify them visually.

This line has really reinvigorated my TF fire. I was all but done and now they've gone and given me hope for a huge lineup potential.

I know, it's true. I restored a '69 charger a few years ago. It was a beautiful beast. Love of that car is tied to my soul. But I still have an irrational affection for the countach.

It's like the love of your life that you marry vs the supermodel you admire from afar.
