The original art had a mixture of good guys and bad guys solely because Mattel didn't tell Rudy Obrero who the fuck was who. They just told him to go nuts, and he did
Have a look at the He Man/ Battle cat art lol, Skeletor and Beast man riding Battle cats... dafuq?
Yeah, I saw a quote from Rudy about that art. He called Mattel about who they wanted and where, and they blew him off. So he painted everyone on a Battle cat lol.
Originally advertised product on the left, actual product on the right.

Ireally love that old artwork. Any of the 80's artwork that was painted trumps ANY of the shit on packaging now. It's sad we've essentially lost that craft and moved onto crappy digital art.
I refuse to watch commercials just to watch a quick clip
Who does Blast Attak answer to?
Skeletor? Hordak? King Hsss?

Those kinda high costs are what keep me from being a completist of that line
When I say completist, I mean what I want to complete...NOT all the balogne ones Mattel wants me to collect
Or they could start reproducing out of production characters to create new income...idiots
Wait, Jitsu was a villain?!...me and my brother always thought he was a hero...well I'll be...
Akunin, with the omission of the Conan-and-friends shelf (I have no idea who the hell any of those are) and the She-Ra shelf (I guess, anyways?) I can see myself being into roughly about 75% of your collection, plus/minus a few swap-outs. Evil-Lynn is really a great figure, damn.
A few questions: Why is the Teela-looking normal chick on the shelf with the Horde guys? Is that She-Ra's "Adam" persona? The figure looks familiar but I honestly haven't seen any media in nearly 25 years, so she escapes me.
Also, did Panthor always have that head armor?! I swear I don't remember it, but maybe my child self lost it.
