Since I mentioned it in the 411 thread, I'll go into detail here:

I'm planning a Q&A session with Angelforge. Specifically, with Darkwynter, Krexx, and MSWI. I'd like you guys to be part of the process, so submit your questions here!

I have a few 'usual suspects' sort of questions:

"How long have you been sculpting/casting, How long does it take to go from concept phase to a completed cast, Any tips for beginners in sculpting/casting, Do you think SDS' crash helped or hindered you in any way."

But, I'd like the bulk of questions to come from you guys. Your question(s) can be for one person, for all three, in parts, whatever. Ask away, and I will uses as many of them as I can.

I'd say make them serious questions, but I know that's not always possible. ;)

Current questions:

XOC2008:
What got you into sculpting/casting?

How long have you been sculpting/casting?

How long does it take to go from concept phase to a completed cast?

How much time do you spend daily and weekly on casting/sculpting?

Any tips for beginners in sculpting/casting?

Do you think the downfall of SDS helped or hindered you in any way?

Where does most of your inspiration come from?

What piece are you most proud of, and why?

Do you have a favorite figure of all time, and why?

Monkeywrench:
Angelforge as a company is somewhat mysterious. Can you give some insight on current and future goals?

Can you explain your relationship with Slayer?

How many employees do you have and will you be expanding?

Giga Bread:
Will you be selling casts of Krexx's sculpts from SDS? If yes, will you have control over all his previous sculpts, or are there some unaccounted for?

G.I. Eddie:
How is your health, and do you foresee any impending life threatening illnesses?

Meddatron:
For Krexx: When you sculpt a head, do you do all of it in one sitting, or do you do some, let it set-up then add to it later? Or does it depend entirely on what you are sculpting?

Joerhyno:
How are prices figured out for your items? Is it just a matter on the amount of rubber/resin used, or are there more factors involved, like sculpt difficulty, detail, etc?

NSA:
What do you think you can bring to the casting table that others before you could not?

What do you see as the biggest challenge facing the casting community right now?

Do you have a legal team?

If you only had one hour left before the planet exploded, what tv show's series finale would you watch?

Do you plan to expand more into realistic military sculps/accessories/etc? I see a lot of your stuff seems fantasy based so far.

Steve owns a coconut shop. He has 6 coconuts. Sally wants to buy 2/3rd of Steve's coconuts. How many coconuts does Sally want to buy? Show your work.

WVMojo:
What materials (brands) and tools are the best medium to work with for sculpting?

Have you thought about doing a series of tutorial videos?

fogger1138:
There's three of you - I know what Krexx does and I'm pretty sure I know what DW does - what does Mswi do?

nacho:
As you move away from SDS legacy sculpts, will there be a focus or theme for the new product, i.e. Joe universe, comic/video game characters, tv/movie characters, non-descript fantasy characters, or whatever the whim of the sculptors happens to be on a given day?

Every time we do one of these Q and A's. I always think of great questions when I'm not on or near a PC and then when I get back on.... mind goes blank LOL. Here's what I have right now, probably have to do some editing as I just spitballing.

1. Af as a company is somewhat mysterious. Can you give some insight on how you started and your current and future goals?

2. Can you explain your relationship with Slayer?

3. How many employees do you have and will you be expanding?

Updated. I figure I'll let this gather some questions for a couple days, then submit them to the Angelforge guys so they can work out their answers in their own time.

I've always been curious about this, on how they figure out prices, especially recasters, sometimes its hard to pay $6-$8 for a head that is a recast when sometimes you can get the whole figure for close to that price.

What materials (brands) and tools are the best medium to work with for sculpting?

Have you thought about doing a series of tutorial videos?

How long from start to store does it take for a cast to be created?

Updated first post with your first two. The last question is pretty much the same as one I already have in the initial list.

This is great, though. Keep 'em coming, guys.

Steve obviously didn't think his business plan through if his entire stock consists of six coconuts.

And they are now submitted to AF for answers. We've asked a lot of questions and I want as many answers as possible, so it may take some time to get things back.

Thanks for the participation!

Just as an FYI. If you see some of your questions a bit altered, I did it for either grammar and spelling, or due to some legalities with regards to AF where contractual obligations or liabilities would prevent a question from being answered just because of some wording.
