Binaltech arming kits. They went on the Alternators.

If I remember correctly, some of the Binaltech versions came with a single launcher or something, but were discontinued. As usual, someone recast them and sold them as kits. I bought enough to arm Smokescreen and Silverstreak (2x each) and Jazz and Wheeljack and a few others, I think. They got to about $30/set (2 launchers plus some other throwaway shit) and then disappeared totally. I dunno where you can even find them now.
And HOORAY! BBTS shipped my blue Frumble and Buzzsaw! I finally get to own a blue Rumble after all these years!

Yes, I had him as a kid. Purple monkey, teal bird. I actually used the bird as my Laserbeak, although I knew he wasn't. 
Still, not bad cassettes. I would've preferred them without the bad combining gimmick though, which led to the bird's head being able to be flipped down as the robo-pecker.
Bad colors aside, remove the gimmick and he's two cool robots. Did they ever get screentime in the Japanese continuation? I still wish someone would do an English overdub today and put it on the Hub. That would be historic for Hasbro.

Do you guys get mad when you realize you missed something like this? How the fuck did I not see that already? It's like Quakewave! If nacho hadn't mentioned it, I wouldn't have been able to order the fucker before it sold out.

I wish someone had made a better "Autoscout" or Takara had put one in with Soundwave, as much as they seem to have hard-ons for those cartoon niche characters.

I ran across these while looking up Cassetticons. I kind of dig the all-black, it goes well with 4 of the original 6 cassettes except for Ratbat and blue Frumble. $100 is a tad steep for plastic KOs, though, but I could go for $60 or $70...

I'd never seen Scramble City because watching action movies or animated series with subtitles distract the shit out of me because I can't pay attention to the action AND the reading (or maybe I'm an idiot) and enjoy both, but this is a decent voice over of Scramble City, which I've always wanted to watch but avoided due to the Japanese-only versions...
I really wish we'd get this and The Headmasters released in the US.
I just started watching it, and the most distracting thing is that I know the real voices in my head, but some of them are really pretty decent. Steeljaw sounds like Meatwad, though.
It always bugged the shit out of me that Ultra Magnus, Autobot City, and the cassettes just appeared in the movie without so much as an explanation, so this is an awesome bridge for me. I always felt that UM fit in with the Season 1-2 guys, and this makes sense.

Just watched it. The storyline is simplistic at best, and a tad overcrowded. Not much development for any of the characters, to be honest, and I kept wondering when the hell Omega Supreme was going to help out. I mean, they have this other giant Autobot and don't even bring him to the fight? And then the Decepticons get their asses kicked and just leave Earth for Cybertron, just like that?
As dumb as it was, it's still great to see "new" G1 material, and some of the voices aren't half bad. It'd be fantastic to get the original voices in an official release (at least the ones who are still alive) but that'll never happen. I'd love to happen upon some ARAH Sunbow cartoon of that Season 3 that never happened. Sigh.

That must've been cut down...there were so many random gaps...it would just jump from one thing to another with no reason why...like why did Metroplexs eyes explode, or who shot them out?...though honestly metroplex vs triptocon, I couldn't have cared less...

Yeah, I read the descriptions and it sounds like it's not the original cut. I guess why it says "Reloaded"? It's either chopped up, parts omitted, or added to from previous clips, or something. I dunno, it's still better than the shit I'd seen prior.
I tried watching a Headmasters or 2 but the episode was just terrible, so I gave up. Galvatron gets killed in the LAMEST way possible.

I started watching Headmasters, and while I was really excited to get new stories and classic G1 animation..... the subtitles, bad translations, and animation errors all really make it a chore to watch them. So many new characters that I neither knew nor cared about didn't help either.

The names alone weird me out. Japanese translations are either terrible, or the initial naming is just god-awful. I am not sure which it is.
"Super God Masterforce"? "Headmasters"? Those sound like some fucked up kink porn titles. "Victory" is the only one, and it's a sort of stupid name, like "TRANSFORMERS: WINNING!"
What was the original TF line called in Japan? "Fight Super Robot Life"? God, that's terrible.
BTW, nacho, I got my shipment notification for Quakewave, and it says "Expected Delivery Date" of Saturday, except it's not showing any activity so far, and it says info was sent on Tuesday. Your status say anything beyond that?

I just have a deliver confirmation number, and when I go to usps, it just says that the electronic info has been received, so I don't even know if it's been physically picked up. I certainly don't have an ETA yet...
Ah, mine was with FedEx. Didn't even look at it again until just now, and it still says "Information sent" so who knows. I was so stoked to get it by Saturday, but now it may not. Grrr.
Most of my FedEx packages get transferred to USPS...which I love because they almost always deliver earlier than the expected date...anything fedex or UPS brings is NEVER delivered early...you don't pay for extra shipping from them and they will NOT deliver it any earlier...while USPS just seems to want that sh!t outta their hair...
Fuck the USPS. I know what you mean, but I've only had FedEx Ground (Home?) go through them... so you may be right, as this one is FedEx Ground, I think. Anything else from UPS or FedEx (non-ground) is usually delivered directly.
I went into a Post Office today (not my normal one) to mail a package to my kid sis which was on the way to the store, and the motherfucking line didn't move in 15 minutes' time. I swear, I just stood in the same place and finally said fuck it and left. I hate them so much.

Is there no self auto mailer thing at your PO?...they are 24-7 here...the only time I go thru that stupid slow a$$ line is if it's international or if what im shipping is too big to fit in the bin slot...

We do but I hate machines more than I do tellers who don't know English. I have an EMP built into my fingertips or some shit, as 50% of the time, I try an automated device and it fucks up. I kid you not. ATMs are the only thing I don't generally have problems with. Self-check-outs and parking deck payment kiosks are the absolute worst, but I've had my share of problems with our postage machine, so I gave up on it.
Man, you are seriously missing out on one of the top ten inventions EVER!...I can mail a package in 1-2 minutes tops...glorious
Goddammit, what's the point in sending shipping info if it's not going to actually be shipped for days on end? I was sent the tracking info on Tuesday, and it just shipped out today. So much for the original "estimated Saturday" delivery.

You'd be surprised...I had an order in NC yesterday...it was on my porch when I woke up...complete surprise...expected delivery was NOT today...and that was FedEx!

Having all my packages sent to my business is great because our carrier knows not to even try on saturdays, and nothing ever gets left at the door. He just keeps it in his truck for a day or two until we're open. He's cool. And he likes us because my dad and I order a shit-ton of stuff, business and personal, and it all goes there. Not a day goes by that he doesn't deliver mutable packages to the office. I think he reaches good bonus territory, largely due to all our crap.

Pretty sweet. The box is very MP-ish, but it also has a window-box flap. Only downside is that to keep the box small, he's half-transformed in there. He has a robot torso and a big block of purple for a lower half. It's like Professor X was from cybertron. Upon further inspection, it seems like his legs are collapsed, and there is some more room down there, so maybe it's just the way mine came. I haven't had time at work to get him out and play with him.
BUT, I can see that he's got some diecast parts, lots of detail. My first impression is that I'm going to be very happy.

Dammit, I'm wondering if I'll not be able to get those batteries with mine... Not that it'll ruin my day if I don't get them, but I'd rather not have to pay a few extra bucks for them.
