I think I'm going to offer $10, retail price. Because that's how much it's worth to me. Why would anyone spend $300 on something like that? Some laborer was getting tired after a 12 hour shift and wasn't paying attention to what they were doing. Hell they could have been doing it for an hour and made hundreds of them. And how hard would it be to fake one of these?

With the know-how probably not hard.

Yeah, I don't see the draw of factory errors.

Hey guys, I just bought the AOTC Slave 1 a week ago and now I'm really tempted to get this Amazon BS1.

Whoever has one please talk me into it or out of it. As of right now I'm in love with it and about to buy the b-tch!

But the wing problem is kind of bothering me so let me know if anybody has attempted the wing spring switch.

Just like all those man-children the day they wake up to find all the O-rings on their thousands of dollars worth of grade figures have broken, reducing the value to a fraction of what they paid for it.

From the Yakface Facebook page-

"The Black Series is literally falling off the card backs. I saw these this morning at Target. The ones still on the pegs were half separated from their cards too."

As I said before, the spring is not an issue. It's a bunch of dumbfucks who do not know how to turn the wings until they "click" into place. It's just tighter than the Clone Wars version.

So that guy is either passing off a fake, or the store reattached the bubbles wrong after they fell off.

There is an awesome video on Yakface of a collector shaking a figure till the bubble falls off! I used to be the biggest Star Whore around, but Hasbro killed it. The 6" figs are where it's at.

Best you're likely gonna get at retail, or without 10-15K to commission an artisan to make you a properly scaled one. Jesus, 70 bucks was the retail on 21st's AH-1W....

Someone should tack on 10" or so of tail boom, add a doghouse and turn it into a helicopter.

Just found 3-3/4" black figs on clearance at Walmart...

Is that why people are saying $8 at WM?

Beautiful shot:

No tail boom or rotor, but I will be spinning the floating cockpit around to face forward and cutting the side door to cover that back storage area when open and mounting RB's mg for a door gunner.

you guys must live in never-never land. There has never been a sub-$9.99 vintage collection figure at a store in this area. Maybe when TRU had a national buy one get one half off, but they only had half a peg of prequel figures, so that doesn't really count.

Hell, even when my WM "clearances" this stuff, they only knock off 10%. New waves of good figures for $4-$6... urban legend!

I went into Wal-mart today and saw some of the new Star Wars stuff. There were only a few of the black card stuff. Two of the black card figure's packaging had already fallen apart. People online really weren't kidding around when they said that was a problem. I did see a Green Clone Trooper, a figure I've been wanting for a year now, but I passed on it because I need to spend a lot of moneys on obtain the books for my classes this fall. I need to graduate and get a damn job.

I had to drive 40 miles to pick up some stuff for work today, and there was a WM next to place I had to go, so I stopped in. Oddly, they had two full cases of the 4" figures, Luke and Padme included. However, there was nary a sign of the 6" line. No pegs, no price placard, nothing. It wasn't like they had sold out of the big guys; it's as if it wasn't in their planogram. Very odd indeed.

But I did find the ever-elusive MU Nova!
