I don't even want to talk about how poorly that set was handled...but yeah, I begrudgingly picked him up...having already had an $84 credit at CP, my total came to $41...that didnt hurt too much 
Ah that reminds me, I still have to switch out the arm cord. Just haven't gotten around to it...
In the grand scheme of my MP collection he was cheap. The best word to describe him is "dense". You get your money's worthI'm glad I never saw the allure of the character...saves me some $$$

Wait... HLJ is showing as shipping... So maybe not that long? I really want to get him in and now overpay on shipping, but I've also been waiting over a month and a half for my BBTS Joe POL, so...
It usually takes NA retailers about 1-2 more weeks to get stuff that Asian retailers are shipping...
Ha! My PoL has been sitting there since early May. I have tons of stuff in it, but since I'm only another month from finishing my house, and I don't have any more storage space to put it in, I figure it can sit at BBTS for a few more weeks and get Prowl in there as well.
Well, I've had Joe stuff in my POL since early Spring... Just hasn't been worth shipping until I got my Wave 3.5/4 stuff in stock... But now it's so damn close, I may as well wait a little longer. It'll be my damn birthday by the time I get all of it. 
I think BBTS has a six-month limit now. If you don't ship in that time, it will ship automatically.

Assuming this is legit and not BBTS pulling one out of their ass, the Asian sites should have this up for preorder in 6 months or so. I'm guessing about ¥20,000 plus shipping. I can't see skipping this.
My Prowl order came in at HLJ, gonna let it sit in my warehouse until Soundwave and Bluestreak come in. HLJ only allows 2 months for combined shipping, or else I'd wait on Smokescreen as well.

Yeah, as much as I want a UM (I have always thought he was cool but his vintage toy was utter shit) what I really want is a redesigned Megatron to match up with MP-10. A MP-10-based UM is a win in my book, though... It just sucks to have a Starscream/Soundwave/Shockwave/seekers/coneheads and no Megatron that fits with them.
It's only fitting.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all in on these... but there is something about Smokescreen that's bugging me. Car mode is awesome, but there is something off or missing about the bot mode. He's far too plain and just doesn't look right to me. Maybe it's the anime head. I just can't put my finger on it.
Whatever it is, I'm sure that Dr Wu will discover it (before I figure it out) and make an add-on kit to fix it!

They're smaller than an Alt but larger than a CHUG. Somewhere between 1:24 and 1:32. Later this morning I'll measure one and see.

Finally got around to fixing the arm replacement on Quakewave, and realized that the electronics don't work on the "underslung" arm. They simply do not fit. Sort of a bummer, as the electronic arm was something that I'd considered activating at some point (I hadn't installed the battery yet because I know I'd forget about it and it'd corrode eventually) since it was a gimmick on the original, but oh well.
Since you can't use the light-up function anyways, I went ahead and swapped out the opaque hand and cannon, and I think I much prefer it over the translucent one.
The new arm is fairly clever since it has a new rotating mid-arm piece that the cord plugs into, except there are a TON of screws now, and if you place the swivel piece with the screws facing inside in bot mode, they face outwards in gun mode. 6 visible ones, as opposed to the original 3. I wish they'd used black screws on them at the very least, as the silver sticks out like a sore thumb.
