Yeah, but I've got a whole warehouse full of 25th figures, and ROC figures, and POC figures, and 1:18th diecast cars, and transformers of all shapes and sizes, and MOTUC stacked to the ceiling, and Marvel universe and legends by the boxload, IM/Cap/Thor movie figs in droves, 21stC, PTE, FOV and about a dozen aircraft.... and don't get me started on the seven truckloads of stuff I accumulated in the name of customs. I could live to be 100 and never finish all the customs I've already bought parts for...

And THAT's just the *new* stuff. I got boxes and boxes of vintage stuff too.

It makes me want to cry just thinking about it. I'm going to go through it all and have a major purge in the spring. I keep telling myself that it's not that much stuff and that it's the packaging that takes up so much room... but I'm having a hard time deluding myself at this point.

VV, I saw one of those this morning as I was trying to box up a small mountain of MOC POC figures...

On the bright side, I am almost finished getting my vintage MOC collection set up in my man cave, and it's nostalgic glorious wonder is something to behold. It's that awesomeness that will allow me to part with so much of the other stuff without feeling bad about it. I just don't have room for all the vintage stuff, much less an avalanche of modern stuff.

Yeah, you'll no doubt be able to unload a lot of that stuff here when you decide to get rid of it. Facebook, weirdly enough, is another good venue.

I never thought of FB. I don't think I'm FB friends with any other toy junkies, so that might be an issue.

I've never sold any toys before. It's not like I'm having financial difficulties or anything that normally prompts one to sell off a collection. I just had an epiphany that I have way too much stuff. My new house is finished, I have have a clear picture of how much I can realistically display without looking like a jumbled mess. And I'll still keep a lot of stuff for customs. But I bought a ton of stuff in doubles, one for me, one for the kids. And now that I don't have the space, and I'm starting to question if my kids will ever be into this stuff, I know I don't need doubles. I might not even need singles!

It'll be several months before I go through it all and figure out what has to go, but no doubt, I'll give the crowd here first crack at everything.

There are a number of groups on FB for trading and selling Joes. GI Joe Outpost and Tradeyer Joes are two I'm in. I've seen stuff that languishes in BST threads get snapped up quickly there, so it may be worth a look.

Well, Karen from the Club got back to me. I had to email her separately, their stupid site "contact us" form wasn't working I don't think.

I will say, their one saving grace is they at least have pretty competent staff on the CS side. The unfortunate thing is, I've had to email the poor woman 6 times in the last year due to fuckups on the Club's part. I can't imagine the traffic and hate she receives on a daily basis due to their fuckup-to-non-fuckup ratio.

Anyways, like I expected, I'll have to mail back the fucked-up Airtights and they'll send a replacement after they receive the returns. What annoys me is that I had to pay for the extra $30 "insurance" to cover issues like this, AND pay to ship it back. For one of the shittier figures in the whole set. Ugh.

Where's Blood to come in and remind me how stupid I am for giving them my money?

Yeah, I'd advise checking the condition on all figures regardless of whether you're keeping them or not. I'd be pissed if I got something from someone who could've returned theirs for an undamaged one and now can't because they didn't take the time.

Several HTers are selling their unwanted figures sight-unseen which is not cool for the buyer who gets stuck with a shoddy package.

Sonofabitch. Those goobers at the Club are shipping their December shipments now, during the week of Christmas, while half the country is out of town. Thank God I have FedEx's shipment manager set up, because I put a hold on my deliveries while I was out of town. Hopefully they don't fuck it up like the USPS did last year.

HT already has folks with theirs. I haven't gotten my shipment notification yet, but I won't be here anyways… Hopefully it'll be here when I get back from my trip.

Spoiler alert:

Tollbooth and Desert Scorpion.

Hahaha basically. But I did like how they at least attempted to make something new. I'd like to see some of those characters reinvented.

To Hasbro's credit, there are some decent ideas there. Just the wide-shouldered construction makes my head hurt at how they could possibly have gotten worse proportions than the original ARAH figures.

I don't like the figure designs, or well most of anything from that era. But I did start getting into Gijoe at that time, so I didn't have this cool cartoon or anything to go off of. I had no clue what these guys were about. The shelves were lined with 2 packs for less than the price of one figure now. I was in heaven.

Until Hasbro started the classic ARAH comic packs, then I was really mind blown.
