I kind of agree.
- MU stopped being stocked, so I went from an all-in, full line collector to an online cherry picker.
- SW vintage line stopped, and I don't care to display non-vintage style packaging, so I went from a buy-anything-from-Ep IV-VI kind of collector to a cherry picker there too.
- Joe stopped having product that wasn't dollar store fodder, so I've just stopped. Not from lack of desire, but because they don't make Joe toys anymore.
I pretty much only buy Kre-Os, Masterpiece TFs, and lots of third-party TFs. Part of me is sad because all the best toys seem to be drying up... However, lately I've been going through my toy storage units (yes plural), and I see all the crap I've accumulated over the years, and half if it is cool... and half of it makes me wonder what the hell I was thinking. So maybe slowing down, even if it's manufacturer/retailer induced, isn't all that bad.
