Yeah, I know it's blasphemy or whatever to some people. But I picked up a second Ultimate SS off the 'bay for like 5.99 cause someone was trying to unload a bunch, and I cut the arm and leg wraps off of him and then hollowed them out. I whittled the Herc bracers down to bare skin and then shoved the arms into the wraps and glued them in place.
So, I have a thought and I need some opinions on it:
Because my Big Boa is pretty much inhumanly large and muscled, I was thinking about grafting some ports from a ZV harness onto his back and let him be one of the few "successful" experiments that didn't turn into a zombie, but he has to be constantly fueled (a la Bane) by the compound to retain his strength.
No pictures yet, because I haven't done anything. I'm torn on the idea.

It's not the worst idear I've ever heard.
My only hesitation is those big ol' glass canisters protruding from his back in an action situation. Unless it's like Universal Soldier, where they have to go back to the lab to regenerate, or, in his case, get 4 quarts of Compound Z.

I'll have to see what sorts of fodder I have at my disposal to make this work the way I'm seeing it. And yeah, I was hesitating with the canisters too. But... I have that Darth Vader table, and I might be able to work something out with that + the spinal ports and use that as his regeneration/refueling station.
I might also just say "fuck it" if nothing looks right, and just leave him as is (aside from doing the paint work that's left)
It's for sure a cool idea, but I don't think his size should be a realism issue either...it's not out of the question for someone to be that huge...rare, yes, but not unrealistic..
Maybe, though I tend to think that someone like that would likely be fueled by something. Compound Z, nanomites, steroids. I mean, sure, it might be realistic to be big like that, but I think Cobra would certainly try and make the dude as violent and strong as possible.
That said, I'm still undecided and won't know for sure till I gather everything I need.
For Big Boa? Nothing major. I just need to gather a few of the Compound Z canisters that plug into the ZV harness. I have plenty of those.
With Contraband working on female ST torsos, and KT talking about the Night Stalker's stahlhelms, I started working on this:

I can't find a set of Viper goggles, but I imagine they'd fit. I REALLY wish I had a set of the round goggles from the Daniel Craig Golden Compass figure.
Yeah, I don't have a helm like that. Just the DG trooper ones. Or the ones from the Ourwar germans, but those won't fit on her head.
But I want a helmet for her. I think I'm leaning towards the first one to keep the ranks looking similar.
Not sure what else I want to do. I considered a very thin layer of apoxy over her hair to resculpt it, because it just looks kind of flat otherwise, but I don't want to increase the dimensions of the head. It's already a tight fit in any helm I could put on her. I think I may just go forward with what I have now and send it in.

Could use the Pilot Scarlett head for that, maybe.
Gonna get it cast with ponytail first, and when I get the original back I'll see if I can sculpt a bun on her. The important thing is that it fits under the helm, for me. The ponytail just -barely- makes it. The bun will have to be sculpted low, and pretty small, to work with the helm. I think I might take a knife to the helmet and shorten the back a bit so it fits better.
I just use electrical tape w/dull coat on it over mouths for troopers heads,lol. Having more then one figure with the same unmasked/partially masked face bugs me idk why,and different hair color isn't enough of a difference for me.
There's also this combo, which looks more like the con version. I'm still torn, and leaning towards the 30th trooper helm with the viper goggles.
I think after looking at the pictures, I've pretty much decided to go with the 30th helmet. It sort of eliminates the likelihood of sculpting a bun for another version of the head, but we'll see.
