I know I'm in the minority, but I'd be OK with a non Transforming G1 Megatron in MP scale. I know, I'm a dirty heathen who doesn't understand that a Transformer needs to be able to transform for it to be worth buying.

Oh, I'm with you. I love the little non-transforming revoltechs too. My Apollyon will never see gun mode. But that's not an overly popular opinion. I regularly get told on TFW that I'm collecting wrong. WTF :)

Honestly, I'd prefer non-transforming over tank-mode. That way you're not saddled with weird kibble and detail from an unwanted vehicle transformation. Articulated statues are A-ok.

Haha yeah, that's why I don't post on any of the TF forums, I mean I'm not a huge collector to begin with, I cherry pick like a mofo when it comes to Transformers.

I do not. Been hoping that the NA sites would eventually stock him. Internatioinal shipping is like 50% of his cost...$25-$30 IIRC. Though, I'm guessing if the NA sites did get him, they'd tack that shipping cost onto each of the figures and then add the shipping to my house to that. Probably better to order internationally but I don't really want to pay that much for him.

And that's why I don't have him...yet. Dragging my feet.

Yeah, if you want it international looks like it. As awesome as it is, I'm just not sure an articulated statue is worth $85...though I've paid far more for far less. :headinsand:

I feel like I'd be buying it just so that I don't miss out on it at this "low" price and just to have it. After I have it, I don't know what in the heck I'd do with it. Start a Devy display? :lmao:

It's a vast improvement over the Walmart one. I hope they fix the fucking torso/waist snap on it. That's the main thing I hate about the Takara one, besides the gigantic box and silly cape accessory that caused the box to be so huge.

Love it, although Tracks is farther down on my list than I'd liked for him to be already being made, but whatever.

I hope they show Ironhide soon, and the damn release date isn't 2016. It seems like they take forever to put anything out, then push them all out at once. I wish Takara could get a good production release schedule down so we got 1 every few months.

Same here. Looks nice, but as previously noted, I'm pretty ho-hum about '85 characters. I'd rather have '84 or '86 guys, but Tracks is one of the better 2nd year guys, so I might talk myself into picking one up.

I haven't been thrilled with MP Magnus, so I ordered a white MP-10 KO from Uncle Billy. Should be here in a few weeks. Given the poor quality of my original Tak MP-10, I have to assume this will be an improvement.

I had a big 4'x8' N-scale train display that me and dad put together. Little town, farm, mountains, lake...so cool! Then our house burnt down and that was end of that. I still have the actual trains though, and some of the track.

So yeah, I too wouldve LOVED a train combiner. Devastator was my favorite due to my facination with construction vehicles. We lived on a dirt road and I fell in love when the grader would come down the street. My dad got us actual 1:64 scale construction equipment that was so awesome with our Hotwheels.

Man being a kid was fun!

That's largely an urban myth at this point. Those were outlawed years ago, as I understand it. They just criminalized possession of child porn, though, and only banned it's production back in 1999.

Japan is fucked up, but I think we had a hand in that shit.

I ordered from chimungmung. I know it cost a bit more, but I've ordered successfully from Tony many times in the past, and I didn't feel like trying a new asian retailer. He shipped the next day, so I should get him in a week or so.

He'll scale perfectly with the 4" revoltechs, and his aesthetics, while simple, won't clash with the Pat-Lee-looking comicbook styles the revos typically have.

I'll definitely post some pics when he comes in :D

I always liked Bluestreak, but I hated that the original toy had neither the blue deco of the '84 catalog or the black hood like in the cartoon. Now the MP line has rectified both of those wrongs. I'll still display the silver/black with my other '84 autobots, but I have a compulsion to get this that will not be denied, even if I don't know what I'll do with it when I get it. So pretty....
