Funny thing is I JUST made molds of ripcord's lower legs,knees,feet,and joints
I think they'll look good on DG shipwreck...hopefully. I already matched up the paint color

The club's zombie hunter clutch gave me the idea to get that ripcord for the legs...
I'm really liking the POC dusty knees w/renegades trooper legs Boris ping used in his latest custom...I need to get my hands on those knees to copy eventually. My son has several renegades troopers that I can borrow for legs.

Personal use,although I will cast for others if they have something I want a copy of,or trade for..I'm pretty much caught up too. Poured my last molds yesterday,and will run them today..Iirc 5 torsos,2 of one kind,3 of another...I'll post up pics prolly tomorrow

Scarlett's little hip pouches&the 3 torso pivot bushings are in with some feet in medium plastic...
The trooper torso was a debacle from the jump...it was the 2nd or 3rd mold I've ever made,and for some reason(stupidity) I hooked the sprue up to the head ball..it wouldn't be an issue now,since I no longer use toothpicks,BUT I guess it was a evolution in learning? lol.
I can't wait to cast myself a scarlett tho,and start modding it
I think I'm gonna cast Scarlett's arms while I have her..I don't think I've seen them before? Might be useful..
Hello everyone, after getting away from the hobby for about 2 years I'm getting back into it. I used to have an account on these boards but forgot the login info after so long so I made a new one.
I think this is the right thread to be posting on but please correct me if I'm wrong haha.
Anyways, I'm building a barn out of balsa wood for a diorama and I need hinges for the doors. If anyone knows where I can find small hinges that look to scale for 1:18, that would be greatly appreciated. The setting is the Normandy countryside in 1944 so nothing fancy just regular hinges you would find on a barn.

small hinges are hard to come by, but if you are using wood then use a piece of duct tape as a hinge & use some coffee stirs as the wood to cover up the tape.
If you have a hobby shop nearby then they might have wooden ship modeling. If they do, they'll have brass hinges that are awesome for multiple things

Hobby Lobby. Dollhouse section. They have some packs of super small hinges and I think even door knobs.

Still gotta run his feet. I ran them with the lower legs,but I got a bubble in one
and I'm on the fence if I wanna go wth bare hands or back to stock. I know the mix for both greens on that shipwreck from a past custom,so the paint part is all gravy...I'll start on that while I run those feet get done

pcsguy reminded me of that Decepticon drone he sent me epochs ago, so I'm doing that at the moment. It had some tacky paint paint that needed stripping, so I took care of that, and am bouncing around on the various highlight colors.
I've got a physical mod or two I'd like to do, such as a prop, removable landing gear, some kind of ventral FLIR/camera doodad and stores on the wings. I don't have anything in the bins, but rest assured I AM on the case. It's smaller than a real drone, so adding something that goes "boom!" is tough.
Maybe iron bombs from a Tomahawk?

Smaller? Most of the feet we get are too small to begin with! I mean, if these guys are hovering around 6'... boots that look like size 9-10 just don't look right, proportionally.

The Club just tanked many of my custom wips with their FSS announcement. Including Nunchuck that I tore 6-7 perfectly good figures apart for. I know theirs wont be as accurate as mine, but I prefer "official" figures over customs since I don't have to worry about wear.

Lol,I don't like shocktrooper feet on shocktroopers..trooper feet are way better looking imo. Shocktrooper feet are skinny too.
