I imagine that list is a lot more solid now. I think Slice will be the 13th figure. I was hoping it'd be either Footloose or Zandar in the set of 13, but now that FL is the 2012 figure, and Hasbro announced a possibility of the 7-packs re-emerging, I think that I'd rather have them handle Zandar in a boxed set with some Noks... I guess there's also SDCC that we could see Zandar finally see light of day, but I'd prefer to see him sooner. Also, I bet the 2012 SDCC figure may be movie-themed.

I still think we'll see Zandar sooner or later, due to that head sculpt seen alongside Zarana in their head sculpt gallery.

Not being a big fan of Slice or Dice, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Zandar as the 13th. Plus, I think he's in more demand, and would definitely cause people to say "ah, shit, I should've subscribed...well, I will next year." And separating Slice until next year will give people added incentive to join the next round..

Does the nano-bat at least glow in the dark? If I was spending my money on a subscription and what not and that's the figure they announced, with all that green shit, and it DIDN'T glow in the dark, I'd cancel immediately. Seriously, you can't have a toy with translucent green shit and have it NOT glow in the dark.

In my mind, it's near-impossible to justify translucent green plastic...but glow-in-the-dark is the right step...

Love that signature, Homer...

lol, and the rubber jar opening pad disappears as well.

Nano BAT, I don't get the appeal. I'm all for some wacky ass repaints, but shit. My army builder OCD doesn't even care if I don't get a single one.

I actually like Quarrel, and am highly interested in seeing a Big Boa and Covergirl, if those two get confirmed on the final list.

I agree with you, Homer. I was talking to x earlier this evening...i don't care much for the Sci-Fi element of GI Joe, with the exception of BATS...I love them. But the nano-BATS do nothing for me.

But like you, I feel like I'm in the minority in liking Quarrel. Not the greatest figure, but still something relatively unique.....

Still need to see pictures of the remaining 10 before commitment....

Hmm, according to a vague comment by a HTer, this month's Club Magazine gives more details on the silly subscription... I paid $20 less so I won't get my mag for another week as a $62 subscription for a figure and a low-end publication seemed retarded when I had the chance to get the mag a week later for $42, but if anyone else hears, please post it. I find these time-delayed reveals to be stupid.

Yeah, the newsletter revealed that you will pay for the subscription in 3 installments and they "engineered" special mailing boxes to send these out in. I'll talk more about it on the podcast.

Hmm, I hope since they're carded that at least they'll not come half-opened like my loose DT did.

The Club should get some of those Hasbro clamshells that HTS was selling for awhile (the same that the SDCC figures come in)... I got one box of ten about 2-3 years ago from HTS for $10 and was going to order more after I saw how they were when they arrived (quality, condition after shipping, etc), and then they went up to $15 a box, and then they disappeared entirely. I'm betting that the Club figures won't come in the clamshells, but it'd be nice to be able to get those clamshells again for the rarer sub figures...

I would imagine that is an option too, but breaking it up x3 helps a lot of folks who'd otherwise pass because they couldn't afford it.

Sorry duff, not yet, but I sense an announcement is coming soon. *fingers crossed*

Any chance of you guys having transcripts somewhere of the podcasts, for those of us who're either bandwidth-limited (me) or audio-impaired (Ewok)?

Sadly, we don't do this yet. I am not so sure how to do this to be honest - if someone can PM me with help, I would be EXTREMELY interested. If you can't listen on a PC, you can also listen via http://whatsonjoemind.podbean.com/mobile or download the free app Stitcher if you have a smartphone. I am not sure of your bandwidth situation so maybe these might not apply to you. Let me know how I can help!

honestly, i really wish the Club would stick to O-ring figures or obscure figures...same for exclusive/con figures...

having to fight to get high demand figures is a pain...

also sucky is some of these figures would make great army builders, like Footloose...

but the worst part is having to pay such insane amounts for high demand figures...

i really hope the rumored list is true cause there are only 2 figures that i REALLY want...4 more that i wouldn't mind owning...

Thanks, for the update cmderinchief!

It's good to know that the sub can be paid for in installments. That's a good call on their part. I hope the new "engineered" boxes cut down on the cost of S&H. Although, will the S&H end up covering the cost of them getting these special boxes engineered and therefore not making S&H cheaper?

To be honest I am not a fan of the 3 payment installment and this new shipping box sounds like a cost increase if you ask me. After this news these figures are going to be over $300+ for the whole package shipped IMO.

I am think that the Sub will be right at $345. That is 3 bi-monthly installments of $115. Not bad considering that these figs may just sell for $40-$100plus each on Ebay afterwards.

So when is will we be able to order 2012? they are really taking forever or they have hit a real snag on the figures they choose or the system to order the figures.

Maybe them and big H ran into an issue depending on what those 7 packs may be. Who knows. They created hype and now it will die down a bit and then they will probably make an announcement once the supposed 7 packs are announced. I'm sure Hasbro doesn't want to miss out on a possible buck.

hum i guess that could be the case. I don't really see a figure of the 12 listed in a possible 7 pack unless they do a 7 pack ninja force, and to be honest Ninja Force was ok but I would much rather have other figures.

Maybe this down time will get the club to finally pin point a location and date for 2012 Joe Con.

Supposedly, Topside has been confirmed as one of the Club's Sub figures. Troynos over at the 'Tank has said that pictures should be released either today or tomorrow.

If true, it will definitely add more credence to this leaked list:

Quarrel
Nano-Bat
Topside
Dice
Iron Klaw
Jinx
Barrel Roll
Sure Fire
(Tan) Grunt
Cover Girl
Big Boa
TNT

I think Big Boa is a definite. It'll be a repaint of that Roadblock mold again. I feel like we're going to get an overload of that torso, especially if they cast it in the medium-tan color of The Rock for Joe2.

I hope they give us a new mold for Roadblock in the new movie line. I'm not a fan of the Night Adder torso, and more specifically, the legs. Hopefully they'll give us a new mold, seeing as how Dwayne Johnson is a bigger build than the Night Adder torso. Night Adder screams basketball player to me. It has definition, but is more lean than the Rock or even *cough, cough* Road Pig *cough, cough* should be.
