1. Are you ending the Renegades lineup?

2. Any chance we could see a 30th Anniversary Repeater?

3. How about a 30th Anniversary Desert Fox 6WD vehicle?

4. Maybe a 30th Anniversary APC? Or a Killer Whale?

5. What new figures can we look forward to?

Sucks about Kwinn. It's not like Lifeline/Airtight/etc are even in announced waves yet either, but at least they feel more "confirmed". Kwinn was a really well done figure, too.

I think the thought on Kwinn being cancelled is that they didn't bring him to SDCC, whereas the others showed up there (minus Data-Viper, of course).

I really want them to release him.

I'd like to know whether or not those alleged Jurassic Park action figures that use GI Joe tooling were actually done by Hasbro and if so why didn't they follow through on it?

Apparently one was sold on Ebay but I'm still unaware of the story behind it

I heard a theory that they may have been done up to pitch a line to whomever owns the JP intellectual property (The Crichton Estate, Spielberg?).

Hasbro may have picked it up when they bought out Kenner, but they'll have to renew/reacquire eventually.

That's what you have to find out, who's got the toy manufacturing rights currently.

Hasbro has rerelased JP toys multiple times since their crappy JP 3 movie toys. unfortunately they were mostly repaints of JP 3 toys and no new toolings or sculpts. It's a property that could easily sell (what child wouldn't like Dinosaurs? especially man eating ones) and a property Hasbro has repeatedly abused.

I personally think that the Joe tooling "prototypes" are actually just customs someone made and is now using to rip people off. but that's just my theory, it's something I'd like someone to actually consult Hasbro about.

Trust me, alot of the stuff is legit, although I have heard some of the o-ring protos are just bootleggers using random plastic colors and making figures pretty much. I have yet to prove that or find out otherwise so there really is no way of saying, but pretty much anything new style is legit, only hasbro has access to the new molds.

So I've been unplugged most of this past weekend. I heard the 7-Pack lineups, and the upcoming MU waves, including Prof X. Any other noteworthy news out of NYCC? Were figures like Kwinn and Lifeline on display (with release dates?)

No Kwinn and speculation is he may become a Con exclusive. The others were there but he is MIA right now. I'm stoked for the Professor X figure coming next year. That is going to be a hot item.

Hopefully questions should be back towards the end of the month. I forget what the date they are supposed to be sent back was.

Here's a big Q I have:

How come you guys ditched the vintage Airtight backpack for the upcoming 30th Airtight? The other one is super cool for an alternate pack, but why on earth ditch the one that ARAH fans wanted with him? The alternate head on Law & Order is also a weird omission. The simple omission of that small accessory could spell people not troop-building him anymore, in an age when you need to sell as many as possible. There's got to be a better reason than the typical copy-and-paste budget-cutting answers. Why those specific items? ...because they both seem to me that they'd sell more with them than any other accessories that could have been nixed.

If anything, we'll probably see that alt masked head (which would have been perfect for IRA or any masked gunman custom) on another figure, even if it is in the next movie line...
