Sucks about Kwinn. It's not like Lifeline/Airtight/etc are even in announced waves yet either, but at least they feel more "confirmed". Kwinn was a really well done figure, too.
I'd like to know whether or not those alleged Jurassic Park action figures that use GI Joe tooling were actually done by Hasbro and if so why didn't they follow through on it?
Apparently one was sold on Ebay but I'm still unaware of the story behind it
Hasbro has rerelased JP toys multiple times since their crappy JP 3 movie toys. unfortunately they were mostly repaints of JP 3 toys and no new toolings or sculpts. It's a property that could easily sell (what child wouldn't like Dinosaurs? especially man eating ones) and a property Hasbro has repeatedly abused.
I personally think that the Joe tooling "prototypes" are actually just customs someone made and is now using to rip people off. but that's just my theory, it's something I'd like someone to actually consult Hasbro about.
Here's a big Q I have:
How come you guys ditched the vintage Airtight backpack for the upcoming 30th Airtight? The other one is super cool for an alternate pack, but why on earth ditch the one that ARAH fans wanted with him? The alternate head on Law & Order is also a weird omission. The simple omission of that small accessory could spell people not troop-building him anymore, in an age when you need to sell as many as possible. There's got to be a better reason than the typical copy-and-paste budget-cutting answers. Why those specific items? ...because they both seem to me that they'd sell more with them than any other accessories that could have been nixed.
