They don't tell a thing. I'll call them on Monday and see what's up. They have not answered any e mails.

Foxhole Toys is reporting that the "MH" is in full production, but won't be out 'til January.

Guess those pitot tubes are really mucking up the works ;)*snickers*

I sent for info yesterday and still nothing. What a waste of time. I liked how they used to operate.

I missed that KT. That's beautiful. Either way, I would like to at least know what the deal is with pricing.

Well, i think you may be misunderstanding 'full". I believe the tiny production run is well underway, but they've got some kind of snag, probably in the packaging or some small thing.

My intel says that there probably will be 1,000 or less made . Also if this helo does not sale well it could be the death nell of the 1/18 helos as we know it.

Almost everyone to a person have said they the new Black H is overpriced and it could be that BBI is taking advantage of the lack of 1/18 product out there.

The F-16 sold well so they are riding on that price point. Kind of like Hasbro selling higher priced product and telling the populace if you do not buy we will not make / sale.

But I am still getting mine. I have a deal going with a vendor and if I did not have this deal I would have to pass on this semi new helo.

I wanted to support them, but they're asking easily double what its worth. I was with them at 120, maybe 130, but they're just asking too much.

I don't know why 170 seems reasonable for the F-16 and not the 60, but that's just the way I feel.

Foxhole Toys let another interesting tidbit slip that the wholesale on these things was over 100 bucks.

Sucks, but I'll probably end up getting one. I wasn't into this hobby when these 1:18 birds were sold all over retail so I don't have any of these great pieces.

Sucks to be me.

Perhaps, perhaps. Though it tells me it's wholesaling for way more than it should.

Or if they get there heads out of there ass and re-assert there self and make new products. Maybe, there would be some money to be made. Just reusing an old product with new crap. It's like putting make-up on a pig, It's still a pig! I want new stuff rather than watch it (the hobby) die. Are companies so scared to make new things because the hobby is dead? If so then there just waiting to day too... So sad too but, what do I know.

Well off to buy 1:6th scale stuff. At least I know that will still be around.

Just be happy Has-blow isn't making it. It would cost x2 and have frickin spring loaded missiles and completely unusable/unbelievable/totally retarded action features and be painted florescent pink.

Got PTE, don't need The Corps!.

Though I'd buy those before I'd pay money for a Hasbro vehicle.

So they had a bunch sold and now they are losing sales because of delays? That sucks for them. Wonder what the hold up is?

I'd like to believe it's the orders being cancelled hand-over-fist, but it's probably just factory screw ups/miscommunication.

Depends if it gets kicked past February. Might be something serious if that happens.

Dude, they're dolls. They coined the term "action figure" just so dads wouldn't think their kids were sissies for playing with G.I. Joe dolls.

If you aren't comfortable enough to call a spade a spade, well then maybe stamps or shot glasses would make you feel better. :D

Couldn't say for sure. Could be people are realising that $170 could be better spent somewhere else.
For me, after shipping it would have been over $200....which I can definitely spend somewhere else.

is this still the over price helicopter thread?

To restart this dying thread:

maybe they will lower the price right before or after Christmas so that more people will buy it!

P.S. spell-check could not figure out: chrismas

Well, seeing as the earliest this thing is gonna be on the boat is Feb. I doubt we're gonna see any great deals on them.
