I'm not gonna burn down corporate HQ yet, but if this 5-point thing some how bears out as fact my nerd rage will be apoplectic.

As long as it doesn't trickle down to the whole line, I'm okay with it for now.. but if corporate suddenly see's people buying those figures and thinks it can save a dime on every figure from there on out.. woo-boy.

Eh, it sets a dangerous precedent. Why in the hell are we back-sliding into ancient articulation points? For years Joe was the best articulated toy line this side of the Pacific.

Figures with the Big 5 deserve to die on dollar store shelves.

It would be awesome if we gathered all our sh!t 5 point figs and mailed them back to Hasbro with big ole poop logs in the box with them...and note, "you gave us sh!t, so now we are giving you sh!t...you're welcome"

So also in going through my stockpiled stuff.. I am so glad I bought so much RoC/PoC stuff and stashed it.. just for custom bases. The RoC stuff is pretty good, and the PoC is great, and now if I went out (and managed to FIND anything) and picked up a figure it'd cost me $9+ just for a basic figure.. I got most of these on sale for $5-$6.

Hoarding for the WIN!

i still think they are prototypes as thats how the 25th figs looked when we first saw them. if not hasbro should burn !!!!!!!!! why the hell go backwards it makes no sense. esp since this movie looks alot better then ROC and they can make a killing and put joe back in the running if the toys rock. but i see they brought the spring loaded crap back.

I'd rather them go back to O-rings than Chap Mei-ing it.

Lowlight was pretty scarce to begin with. Whether this is due to low production or people just buying the crap out of him, I don't know. But I don't believe they released him again after that wave and the 30th line started soon afterward. So, I would venture to say LL is due to low production and high demand.

I have 5 LL's...

What CLoud said.

Low numbers + High demand + Typical distribution bullshit = Low Light's secondary market value.

And it's not like the Marauder one is even 1/4 as good.

Haha... I pre-ordered them on BBTS. He was a favorite of mine as a kid and I just got some for potential customs. I had no idea he would get to be worth so much, so fast. Of course, 30th Storm Shadow has him beat.

I can't figure out why Shadow Tracker is so frickin' much. I have one and I plan on using him for fodder.

Yea, I passed on many Shadow Trackers. Never saw a LL in the wild and I will definitely never see a SS. Too much Renegades on the pegs around my parts

ST was cool and almost as hard to find as LL. I really ought to trade my over on HT for parts.

I saw a ST at Walgreen's yesterday, but passed. I wasn't about to pay $12 for one when I already have 14. (I bought 11 a little while ago for customs)

I remember wanting to do a darker green repaint on the legs and changing the right hand for rifle usage on another, but it never turned up.

I hoard the ever-living fuck out of Shock Troopers. I'd be happy as a pig in slop if that thing showed up in the Retaliation line.

Yeah the ST base.. or even the Steel Brigade figure would be great if it popped up in Retaliation. Can always use more of those.

I need to find what I have enough of to make a new squad.. maybe ST bodies..

That's kinda what makes me disappointed slightly with Retaliation so far. So high with the Shock Trooper, these kind of feel like a step down. Most definitely if the articulation rumors become fact.

I bought Shock Troopers just to sculpt over their joints and give them all 5 points of articulation. Wish I hadn't wasted all that time! Argh! This always happens, Hasbro! I make a custom, then you release the official one!
