Actually, the magnets would work perfectly since the turret has a place for figures feet and then the other would be on the ceiling of the AT-AT. The gap between the bottom of the turret and the floorboard of the figure compartment is small enough that it will not be noticeable from a distance...

If I cut the base of the tower off, I could attach it temporarily, but then the turret is destroyed. Grrrrr.... If the AT-AT was painted, I could just pick up a Panther or PIII turret and mount it. Since I just applied a wash to the plastic, a match is almost impossible.

More of a howitzer than a cannon.

I do not like that it will never match exactly and that I would have to destroy the AT-AT's top to do it.

Hmm... Thoughts?

This makes me want to buy a HengLong to match the rest of my RC panzers.
