My brain just could not find the word at 2am this morning. :) Thanks guys. I'll figure out how to finish the mod (like give it a bottom), but I am very happy with the initial results. Why did it take 2yrs to think of this?

Looks like Photobucket cut all my links, so maybe I'll add the old ones again later. Anyways, the big hole on top has always bothered me and I just got off my ass and took 10 minutes to figure out a solution. I built a rotating viewfinder out of a piece from the bottom and cut up bits of plastic.

Yep, it took many transformers and a few vehicles before I learned less is more, but the way this hiss is done does look like it rolled out of an anime movie. Just depends on the look you are going for.

It's big. It's heavy. It's just the right size. :) I found the glossy one at a toystore in the mall and overpaid for it, but I was not going to take a chance and wait for the matte version with ugly mud splatter.

It would take an F-35 for me to climb into the $200 range.

It is smaller, but I have yet to see it in person. NSA reported from sdcc that it looks to be in scale with 4" figures and I have read it's 1:17 scale. I'm not sure if it is going to local stores, but am certainly on the lookout for it. The 7" version is at Walmart and comes with 2" figures.
