Loved me some Batman in the late 60’s. Tried to get my mom to sew my GI Joe a Batman suit but she never got around to it. If I had room I would definitely get that set for display on my bookshelf, but alas, 1:18 armor and Joy Toy figures took up the spare room 😎

It’s one of my favorite movies, the old one that is. My favorite part is where the Muslim sergeant major explains to his American ally why he only has one wife and not four. There’s a lot of good footage of lulubelle in the movie.

Haha, yeah I remember the sometimes narrow streets from my time spent in Germany when I was a army MP. There were quite a few times that a convoy of big vehicles caused damage during Reforger or some other training exercise.

***RETRO UPDATE *** Today I was at the Walmart on 360 in Chesterfield Virginia near Woodlake just south of Richmond and found 4 AWE Strikers on the shelf. I bought one for the motor pool so that I can crawl on the floor with my grandsons and ruin my knees 😉 I love those boys...

Okay, give us a rundown of the buildings, scratch built or kit? That Tiger is going to rattle out the shop windows going down such a narrow street. I’m sure that there will be complaints lodged with the local polizei 😉

My brother used to work at a plant in Pennsylvania where they made the armor plating for the hummers and other vehicles. He said they were very strict on the materials and they were made to account for everything that they were using in a particular job. I wonder how much of the stuff he worked...

That’s pretty cool, looking at the wide tracks made me think I could reconsider using something like that as an arctic patrol vehicle. It kinda reminds me of a tactical snow cat with weapons, painted white of course.

Yeah, I looked on the overhead too but only found extra hiss tanks. I wish the hiss tanks had looked like real tanks instead of what Robby the Robot would’ve rode in. I could always repaint them but I don’t have the ability to accept that vehicle design into my collection.

I’ve seen and passed on a bunch of SE, several Baroness and SS, even a destro or two while out shopping. I finally bought my first retro figure today, the roadblock, but $12 bucks hurt just a little 😉 I am yet to see the AWE Striker on the shelves but have seen a battalions worth of Hiss Tanks...
