    Mandalore the Virile

It doesn't seem to work as well with synthetic materials, like say a Jedi robe. The stuff seems to be designed to repel liquid and dirt. I have seen people use wire with it, to good effect, making it posable. Stronox has some SW stuff like this posted at procustomizer.com. It should work well...

    Random customs 2013

I have to go with the pant-less zombie. Too funny! I also like the third one down a lot. I don't think the soft goods on the second look bad. Looks like some sort of home made radiation suit from a video game.

Go heavier with the paint and it will "plastisize" the cloth, which will let you make it as glossy as you like. It still has a cloth-like texture, though. For trash bags I would probably use paper, just to get a smoother surface.

Rigid Soft Goods: Capes and such

Thanks for the comments. I'm honored to be of service. I will try and answer questions as best I can. I have seen this method and it works well. I will say that the nice the about using acrylic is that it is not as sticky as glue and dilutes without a lot of mixing. I use Liquitex paint all...

To tell you the truth, it was just what was on hand the first time I tried it. Any clear acrylic should do.
