Yeah I understand the whole blank body thing but using these as a base to sculpt over is where they will get the most use.
Can always shave down the ta-tas in order to sculpt onto the female buck.

I've been thinking of making a small squad of semi-nude people to be Terminators that are standing by in a storage area for activation, these could work for that.
Semi-nude=covering the "business areas", I don't want to have to explain to my kids why I would have fully naked versions of toys sitting around...that would be super awkward.

I ordered a bunch of these as soon as they went up for pre order, February cant come soon enough!
For those that have gotten their preorders in, they say say they're charging up front. Would I be correct in presuming that a second charge for shipping will be made when they're ready to go out?
Really wish I could see some of these things "in the flesh". Choosing what to go with would be much improved if I wasn't basing things of illustrations.

Don't know for a fact, but I assumed shipping was added at check-out. Ask them directly on their Fb, you'll likely get an answer before lunchtime:

They updated most of their images to be production samples if that helps. So they are not the 2d renders or paint masters anymore. And there is only one charge now and shipping is part of that. I ordered a couple extra skeletons and all the new blanks not included in the All-in package and shipping was a hair under $10.
Thanks for the info. I putzed around between the various products to get an idea of what the rendered items will look like.

The first shipment is on its way from Shenzhen, China to BFS HQ in Massachusetts! This shipment contains Spartan, Stone Spartan, Medusa, Coral Gorgon, Black Racer, Talos, Gray Male Blank, and Fire Orange Male Blank. I finally pulled the trigger on my order as well. Going to be a hell of a wait, but it also means I have time to find a more "classical" head sculpt for the female buck. I've got one in mind if Contraband feels like shrinking it.
My understanding is that everything's been cast out, and it's a matter of assembling/painting/packaging/shipping. Shipping is a two-parter, from China to BFS for them to sort then from them to us. KS contributors get priority because we're awesome, then the riff-raff get the leftovers.
Apparently they're gonna include sandal-clad feet with the bucks. I think I may need to place another order, I just found a use for the white female buck.
And this project is going on 2 years now. If this were JSI I would have long written it off as a bad job.
