No weapons in the armor packs, but you should have plenty of weapons from other figures or you can buy a weapons pack. McFarlane has mastered the art of freeing your money from your wallet.
That gun on the right is from my Appleseed figures and way too big for a Joe, even if the handle is 1:18 scale. Perfect for hand held Spartan rail gun. 
Jesus Christ, how do you not know about McF's Halo line? It only spans like 4 games and 30 waves.
They didn't release the armor packs until this series, so you are suppose to be knee deep in them by now. Same goes for the weapons packs that just came out. MF has a bad tendency of shorting you on weapons and purposely releasing new weapons with shitty multiple figures packs to get you to buy them.
Great pics PCS. I will be looking for that set also once the cash flow comes out of the red. I have the black/dark grey color armor pack that was previously released. Made a pretty slick looking Reach-scale ODST spartan.

All of those are made with 2 armor packs and various figures like Noble 6 or the guy that came with the gauss cannon. I keep passing by the sage green pack because I only have the one plain green trooper from those early waves as a base and then the robotic armed dude who came with the rocket launcher to build with. If I ever find that same pack in the steel color, I will net hesitate.
Took a trip to the local TRU, they had the newer reach series there. Sabre pilot's face inside the helmet looks awful. Saw the Rust Spartan, new alien red guy(sorry, I don't know them very well), and a blue security spartan among a sea of helmetless Carters, Jorges, and Kats. Saw a Warthog they had on "clearance" for $33 instead of the usual $35(what a savings!). Saw the new mongeese with blue EOD and ODST....$30 bucks. The single figs were $16.99. Damn TRU. I went to Target down the road and picked up the ODST mongoose for $20. The ODST is horrible. The lack of bicep swivel is a constant grrr in my book but now it seems his elbow will only bend about 60 deg. Not even the full 90. Gonna have to cut this guy up like I did the others.

I went out on two different runs and bought my first Halo figures in almost a year. Picked up 4 more to add to my Spartan army. I now have over 40 Spartans.
Picked up:
2x Spartan Gungnir Custom (series 5, sage)
1x Spartan Gungnir Armor Pack (series 5, steele)
1x Spartan EOD (series 5, blue with Mongoose)
I almost bought the TRU series 5 Spartan Security blue, but did not for some reason. I may go pick him up tomorrow.
Next on my list: Rust armor pack, Sage armor pack, the generator pack with the sage Spartan, the accessory pack with the skulls, and the 3 pack with the not-Master Chief Spartans.

Nothing I can think of that is special beyond the armor packs.

I was about to say the same, but I only have 4 Elite soldiers left, 2 Reach blue armor ones, 1 Reach white/copper armor, and 1 smaller one with white/burgandy armor.
I also have a Ripa Moramee Arbiter figure from series 8 of Halo 3, but that one is just too cool to get rid of.
How plentiful are the sage armor packs? All I can find in my area are lots of steel armor packs and one rust. I really want to army build the shit out of the sage colored Reach troopers.
Wow...nice haul-o-halo there PCS. My stores round these parts have run dry lately. Haven't seen many series 6 and no anniv 2's yet. The local TRU wants 16$ for series 6, 12 for series 5(which they have none), and $16 for series 4(which they have one that I already have). Oh, and their Warthogs are "clearanced" to 32.99 lol
