So looking at all these grayskull pics has me wondering...were architects of the castle vampires?

Yes they were, but made only from the recycled parts of previous Vampires
Only if those previous vampires worked out a lot and wore loincloths.
I don't know WHAT you guys are talking about...I was just referring to the fangs on the front of the castle...
The 30th line seems to have gotten smarter with use of better legs, like the Shock Trooper and SE base bodies. Those keep showing up, and I don't think most folks are really tiring of seeing them, either. Hell, I keep asking for more. Granted, they need about 3-5 new torsos/arms with varying sleeves and button-shirt styles, but toss those in at least 3 new ones and they won't need to create any more base bodies for years, just mix and match for nearly endless potential.
But even with mediocre rehash joes, grayskull will be a sweet playset. I can't tell you how many times Cobra used grayskull as a fortress in my bedroom floor.... many a unsuspecting joe was crushed the closing mouth.
I think it was pretty genius, actually. Hell, slap enough removable armor on a base body and it doesn't even matter what's underneath. That's one reason I like the Joe 25th/ME line, is because of the customization potential, yet Hasbro still hasn't seemed to get the most efficient use out of some of those molds with just creating new webgear and a new head. There's still probably 20+ ARAH figures alone that they could make with that method, not to mention new character potential.

I guess I can see that.
This is funny, but all those cobra temple/pyramid things... I had an obscure transformers base made entirely out of cardboard, like the cardboard cobra missile base. This thing, it was an awesome cobra temple:
One of a few thousand custom toy ideas I'd like to try in the coming years.
You know what would make you feel better? Ordering a $200 castle playset!
That's some spectacular casting...how big are those pieces?
That... is amazing. I don't even collect the MOTUC line, but I'd almost buy that.
