Thanks, guys! I'll get around to getting photos of the actual Infantry here soon. Waiting on a few more to come in if I win the bids on them. I'm planning to have roles for each squad member if things work out.

I have issues on both off mine with the soft plastic railing and side gun being sticky for life.

I would say soak it in hot water after carefully removing it. Then drop into cold water...articulate it back into the joint and move it around until it's not as bad.

Excellent job on that weathering.

And I agree about the paints. Decided years ago to only use acrylic. Testors Model Master has been my go-to for a while. I have always run into issues with lacquers and enamels being sticky. I've even had enamel show fingerprints from touching it a whole week after painting it on. So frustrating.

I only use Liquitex Basic Acrylic paint. Nothing else even comes close. They are affordable and can be picked up at any major craft store such as Michael's or Hobby Lobby.

I use lacquer for base coats and then acrylics for wash and details, lacquer if I do a clear coat. Nothing beats a spray lacquer for durability, especially when your toys are RC tanks running thru the dirt, grass, mud and even snow.

This Commando Fi custom was done by adding 3 layers of light weathering, then using an exacto blade to add scratches to the paint job of his armor. I also dry brushed some silver on there to make it appear as if it had been scuffed. I finally added light blue to his sensor suite/rangefinder on his right shoulder, which is intended to match his visor.

Here's an out of the package comparison:

You need any more parts for this little universe? I have 2 painted AT-STs and a handful of Endor commandos with various heads. I used POC Beachheads with gear from Dragon German troops as my bad guys.

Going rate is whatever gets them out of my garage and into the hands of someone doing non-standard Star Wars stuff with them. Next time I’m out there digging I’ll take some pics. Won’t be anytime soon, but I’ll keep it in mind.

The droid tank. It’s a great sci-fi look with the dirt and pane lining and then the candy clear coating, more of an anime look than real world. The only paint I’ve used that gives that effect is Tamiya Clear rattle cans.

I still think I captured the essence of Star wars despite it looking somewhat anime.

Believe it or not, there's no clear coating here. I merely added silver dry brushing.

Happy with these recent acquisitions...

Now I have a squad of Mandalorians trained troopers. Roughest and toughest the Republic has to offer.

Here's a kitbash made from random parts, greblies, and junk.

Kaminoan Defector, Chau Ki

Approximately 2 years after the start of the Clone Wars, Chau Ki secretly defected from Tipoca City with a sample of the Jango Fett DNA used in the creation of all clone troopers. Ki escaped Republic custody and fled to the Separatists with her research and scientific knowledge of the cloning program. Her capture or elimination has become the main concern for Galactic Republic Special Forces Command (GRSFC).
