I get what you're saying, but let's be honest here, Baroness and Roadblock SHOULD have been made. They were in every goddamn episode.
We all know why they weren't made. Too many new parts required.
Which is a testament to how fucking lazy and cheap they are. I guess if the show wasn't cancelled, they would've made 'em. I wonder how far in advance of telling the fandom that they knew the show was getting canned?
Really sucks for the guys who worked on the show. They put in a good effort, even if I wasn't a big fan of the series. The Renegades figures are pretty decent, if you ask me.

Who says they never prototyped them, or even had mock ups? They had figures from Resolute made that we never thought they'd make, so why not Renegades?

i get that they were the main characters and typically WOULD have been made...however, you will NEVER hear me complain that ANOTHER Duke, SS, CC, SE, RB, *insert other peg warmer here* didn't get made...
yeah, big deal, they had a slightly new costume...do i wanna see another? HECK NO!...move on and make some other characters already...or keep a fraking cartoon alive long enough to have a reason to make new figures instead of the same ones over and over and over and over.....
I actually like the Renegades Duke. The POC Dukes have all been pretty decent, although not 100% win. Actually, except for the shitty ROC Dukes, all the non-Taintumor ones have been kind of awesome since Resolute.
And the SE and SS "perfect ones" from POC/30th have kicked ass, as did Resolute SE. So there are some killer ones that come out, but I'm mostly pissed at the turd CCs and Destros they keep pumping out. Heavy Weapons Destro and ROC Destro were both awesome figures, but I would've rather their tooling been used elsewhere.
Renegades CC is the best CC since Resolute and the "Best of 80s" pack. All those ROC versions and the POC one were total turds, though.

My wave 3 from SmallJoes is now listed as processing.
Kokomo toys is receiving their Wave 3 early next week and is processing orders from there. I expect to have my case by the weekend, or early the following week.
Just make sure you buy the club sub and support the line. Don't wait for stuff to hit ROSS.

qft hasbro does at times but most of the time they just do what they want. they know most ppl will buy what ever says joe on it . while ppl like us want great figs and wont buy just anything.
Wave 4 is up for pre-order at BBTS! The single fig price ridiculous. I pre-ordered 2 sets. Also, looks like they'll be in next month according to BBTS. So, we should definitely see them by January.
besides Kwinn, were there any other amazing figures missing that we were worried would get canned/backburnered for movie sh!t?
I have a feeling that wave 4 is going to be hard to find. Considering that it will either be hitting stores so close to Christmas or following it, and most stores probably didn't order that much considering that they'll be backlogged with previous waves that they've stocked for the Christmas season (if they've even ordered any at all). That coupled with the fact that this is a highly anticipated wave and pretty much all of the figures are winners, is going to make the internet the best chance to get them. Of course, the internet will make sure to inflate the prices above MSRP.
Totally agree with Cloud. I can guarantee i will not see that wave here. I never see any of the years final waves in my stores. I still have not seen a single Renegades or 30th figure here as it is. Doubt I will. i'll probably end up buying what I need from online friends after the holidays. I think my Walmarts and Targets buy Joes only twice a year. I usually end up only seeing 2 sometimes 3 waves in a line. I hope they produced alot so i may eventually see them in secondary market stores.

Soooo... It looks like wave 4 could be showing up next week. The local comic book shop had wave 3 and the owner said Hasbro told him wave 4 should be delivered next week. If it's true, holy crap that's frickin' quick.
That's smart of Hasbro, though. If they're not on the shelves by Christmas, it's tough to imagine they will ever make it.
I agree it's smart. I still think they're cutting it close though. Wave 2 is crowding the pegs here already... I'm afraid retailers have too much of that sucky wave that wave 4 won't see the light of day.
Yeah, I won't take bets on whether certain retailers in my area are going to carry Wave 4, but at least at Christmas, Hasbro/retailers have the best chance to clear away what would otherwise be peg-warmers. Plus, there's a lot of good figures in both waves 3 and 4 that will be in high demand by the adult collectors. What's left afterwards won't really matter, as Hasbro (and hopefully the retailers) will be focusing on the new movie line.

Maybe just maybe the timing could be good. Around here it takes our stores till March to restock anything after Christmas. I always think about how much money they lose on me alone after the holidays because there isnt anything on the shelves. I always thought it was because the manufacturors needed to catch up. I would love to see this wave after the holidays. Fill in the 2-3 month dry gap and wouldnt need to pay for shipping. Such wishfull thinking......
I was in Pittsburgh for the last couple Christmas, Medd, but yeah, my experience was the same as yours. I don't imagine Buffalo being any different. As of December 26th, no new toys get stocked. That includes not just Target, TRU, etc, but also the secondary markets (Marshalls, TJMaxx). Sucks for us as consumers hungry to pay money for new merchandise, but that seems to be the fact...if it's not on the shelves by Christmas, it won't make it there until Spring, if at all...
One problem with if it waits until spring is that by then they may be shifting to movie items. Seeing how the film has a June release date I would think new figures around late April? I can't remember how early they brought out the other movie stuff. Maybe it was when the release was.
Im pretty sure the ROC figures hit a month before Movie. Entertainment Earth had that Mars pack a few months earlier with the ROC logo. My guess would be that the new movie figures hit in May with some sort of related/unrelated exclusive set in april.

We're supposed to see new figures in February at Toy Fair - I really hope they give us SOMETHING between wave 4 and the movie wave. I hate those long dry spells.
no kiddding...if wave 4 really does show up Dec, then theres gonna be some empty pegs for a while waiting for movie trash...
pegs have been empty here in Alberta for half a year. We're just starting to see the jungle BAT wave.
