messing up my hot rod *snicker* was pretty fun though...i went back and did some shading with a lighter red and a lit of rough'n up with the Dremel...came out cool...tough i can never tell if i've gone overboard or no...

thats MP Hot Rod he's next to...obviously not in scale, or he'd be MUCH bigger...but clearly Devastator will be huge...the arm measures 7 1/2" from shoulder to knuckles and 6" from the point where it will connect to the body of Devy to the knuckles...so like it's been mentioned, probably 18-20" overall when assembled...

i'm pretty impressed with this thing...never had a 3rd party TF before...it's very well made of good strong plastic...with nice points to snap everything in place to keep it all in the appropriate mode...

Actually, his height seems like he'll be pretty damned big. If his arm is the height of Rodimus, He should be at least 2 feet tall, right?

Well, Brawl is actually obnoxiously silvery, but shitty lighting hides it in those pics. By the time I did Arcee, I had learned to drybrush with gun metal or Tamiya metallic grey to give the appearance of raw metal that had been exposed to the elements.

i don't know...at one point i was thinking 18-20", but now, judging by this picture, and the fact that the point where the arm mounts to the body is 6" to the knuckles, i'd say tops 18" and more likely 14-16"...still, he'll be a big awesome chunky beast...

heck yeah they are...righ now i only have Scavenger, and i'm in awe...i can't imagine how i'll feel once i have them all...yeah, $600+ is gonna be rough, but i'm not sure there is a single toy i've been dreaming of more since i was a kid...no problem on the pics BTW...i'm gonna do some detail paint on him and post some more..plus a comparo pic next to MP Prime and a Joe

guess i was generous when i said 6"...looks more like 5 1/4" from mounting point to knuckles...so if you look at the pic of Devastator all combined, he seems a little over double the length of the arm (from mount point to knuckles)...so thats around 11-12" plus another 2" for the extra height above arm monting point...13-15" tops...not much taller than MP Prime :(

Well, Eddie, I went ahead and got the first 2 Constructicons. You talked me into it, ya bastard. There goes $600. I guess I'll need to get reprostickers for them as well...

I still haven't gotten my last 2 KO Coneheads, but Nacho said he got his a few days ago... I guess depending on when they were ordered may be the order in which they're getting shipped, so I should be seeing mine within the next week sometime, I guess?

Ah, dammit! Stop! Yeah, I'd seen that Ratchet pic already. Seems a tad too red in the mid-section, but I'll probably cave and buy him, and then paint some areas. I have all the parts to redo my custom Alternator Ratchet (which burned up in a fire), but I just haven't gotten around to it. The sculptor was supposed to do another Ironhide casting for me, but it's been 2-3 years and I dunno if he'll get back to it...

If these guys are remotely in-scale to Alternators, I may have to get them. I think Nacho said they were supposed to be similar but a little smaller, so I dunno.

I have Alternity Bumblebee and Cliffjumper, which are a tad too small in car mode, being 1:32 or 1:36 (can't remember) but they're a wacky Japanese-only Sukuki car which is small anyways, but they fit in pretty well with the Alternators scale-wise in bot-mode, and I really need a Ratchet and Ironhide to complete my Autobots...

Hmm, what to do, what to do... ;)

i think the color was 'shop'd in on that Ratchet, so all that red may just be from that...final coloring will probably be different

Yeah, it looks photoshopped. I'm hoping they have a little more highlights. The Conehead jets had better paint apps and detailing than the Hasbro Starscream, so I don't doubt the 3rd party's efforts on that... I'm hoping that the color scheme is overly-simplified and won't be that basic, or else I'll have to get creative with him. :)

heck yeah i'm getting all three!...i have the one in my POL right now...maybe the other two will ll show up the same time as Long Haul and i can ship them all at once...even if they don't, i'm shipping the 3 Insecticons once they arrive, with or without LH...

i canceled my 30th order...i think the only thing i'm gonna pre-order from now on is ARAH stuff, like Airtight and Sci-Fi and Lifeline...those are the ones i don't want to risk waiting for retail...the other cool (but not necessary) figures i'll gamble on...

I got 2x the 30th Wave 1, but passed on the Renegades guys... I'll get that Duke if he shows up at retail, but the Wave 1 set had the reissue troop-builders that I wanted a few more of, plus I got the Stalker. I figure I can use the extra Stalker for a custom... So the Constructicons are coming out roughly 1 a month, right?

Hrmmm.... I may skip the Insecticons and get the Ironhide & Ratchet instead... Or may wait till you get yours and then get them if they're cool?

i don't know if its officially 1 a month or if these first two just worked out that way...i'm really hoping its that way though cause i want this b!tch bad!...i don't think there is another toy i've wanted more since i was little (i feel like i've typed that before)...

judging by the pics, i'd say Hook (Dr.Crank) is next...seems he's the one with the next most amount of pics if you do an image search on "TFC Hercules"...if not him then i'd say Bonecrusher (Neck Breaker)...

as for the Insecticons...they clearly are cool...it's the quality/durability i'm concerned with...but judging by the pics, they look to be on par with the TFC stuff...

when does IH/Ratchet come out?

as for Joes, Stalker was the only one i REALLY wanted..but i wasnt gonna get the others just to get him...
