Seems very likely to me. Special Ops could be the name for the brand after Retaliation, like POC came after ROC. And then Special Ops will cover all sizes of Joe including Micro Force. Also, Micro Force has been found at retail and has a different SKU than the ones listed in this thread. And like I said the two vehicle pricings are in line with 4" figure vehicle prices. Including the Tomahawk which is the same size as the Skystriker which means similar price.

I'm not saying that it's a for sure thing and I'm certainly not getting my hopes up. But right now more evidence points to it as a 4" offering as opposed to smaller scale.

I see what you're saying, and it seems plausible. Only way to tell will be in a few months! Or whatever they show at Toyfare.

TJ Maxx is definitely selling the Dollar General GI Joe 2.0 line-up.

I picked up OD Green Shipwreck and Snake Eyes, as well as Skittles Colors Cobra Officer. Also saw Orange Storm Shadow, but no sign of OD Green Short Fuze.

The understanding on the "new" GI Joe Retaliation figures is to either try Target or Wal-Greens.

Fogger, the store seems to have received a mixed case of figures. While true that they received 6 figures, they did not receive OD Green Duke or Skittles Cobra Commander.

It's got to be something to do with the Special Ops online game. A ninja army for $4? You can't get an army of 4" ninja figures for $4. Starter Set for $5? You can't get multiple 4" figures for $5. Vehicles for $25? You can't get multiple vehicles for that kind of money. It won't be anything for the 4" Joe scale that's for certain. Perhaps they're add-ons you can pruchase for the game or they're minis based on the game.

^^^ This exactly.

I went to my Target today and found the two Joe three packs from last year (Roadblock, Kamakura, and Beachhead) for 19.99. The SAME two that I went to pick up when they were on clearance for 8.99 and I figured someone else bought them. How do I know they are the same ones? Both were crushed in the same corner...major suckage because I wanted a few more of the BH figs, but still three for 20 is better than one for 10.00

I just realized that Toy Fair is just a couple days after the official Retaliation figure release date. I'm willing to let the possibility that Retaliation is it for this year just to witness the epic meltdown at the Toy Fair reveals of product we already know about.

I gotta make sure my account at the stank is okay and have my popcorn ready.

Indeed, indeed. 4 days away.

Hope everyone has their lead-lined refirgerator. The meltdowns will be nuclear.

I joke, but maybe something will be announced that makes me have a man-child tantrum.

I've been hearing youtube toy reviewers refering to the Retaliation vehicle drivers as "bitter sweat". Those guys are stupid. I think it's just bitter.

Clutch certainly was. Everything about the figure design was awesome other than the fact it got dick-slapped by the Ghost of Action Figures Past.

When just about every figure I own has been customized at some point, I quit caring about most basic stuff on a figure. If the headsculpt or gear is usable, I'll get it. Rhetorically vehicles themselves? I don't know about a lot of those.

I had this same basic mentality.. I was looking at the usefulness of the parts over the actual figure.. but now that prices are close to, or at $10 per figure.. it gets a bit harder to swallow *huh huh* paying that much for a backpack or something trivial.

I know, and dropping the cash for a great headsculpt packed in with a shitty vehicle doesn't seem worth it. Especially when we have a nice casting market available.

But thankfully from what I've seen being released I'll either want the figure or not. If I'm after the headsculpt or some weapon, I'll go to the 3rd party market .

I'm trying to learn how to mold and cast for myself, for the same reason. I don't ever plan on opening up a shop or anything, just want the ability to make my own duplicates.

Or Iron Man 3 stuff.. Or box of Bieber albums.. I guess the list can go on, but damn, $105 really for that shit? Ugh. I wouldn't accept them for just shipping & handling.

The only good Alpha vehicle is the Cobra Night Landing craft w/Eel, though that's saddled with another awful figure and Bike in wave 2.

If anyone has access to a couple each of lady jaye and Colton could you let me know. Walmart had the remnants of a case last week but stopped in today and they are completely full of Wave 1 figs from last year (and its not the filler wave).

Looking for one each for kids Easter and the extra pair for myself.

I'll keep an eye out for you. The 2 Walmarts I check are full of wave 1 as well. The one only had wave 2 and 2.5 at first, but that is all gone except the RoadBlocks and SS and now tons of wave 1...well 4 pegs full anyway.

That's pretty common. Mine has stocked the pegs to bursting with wave 1.

Wave one can eat my asshole. I mean, if it went on clearance fore $2 an action figure, I guess they might have some semi useful parts, but even then not much.

Went to a Meijers that was fully stocked with Ret figs 2 weeks ago. Now they're gone. Not even in the clearance section.
