There is a friend of mine there who buys/sells as a Hasbro direct purchaser. 2 stores down is a Dollar General where he attempted to purchase 1500 units direct from the DG manager, however, DG is sold out storewide (nationally) as well as the additional stores similar to DG which carried them.

As an extra tidbit, there is no plan-o-gram for the Joes and apparently DG has one for every peg and shelf in the store.

went on a road trip down to my wifes parents this past week...drove all he way down to Biloxi, then up to mid Mississippi to visit her high school GF and then cut across to SE Tennesse...passed 20-30 po-dunk DGs...wife only let me stop at two...found SE SS and Shippy at one...and CC at another...

i think po-dunk is the way to go...you live in an urban area, and there are just to many other collectors to battle

I think that's definitely the case. 1000 people in the town, and they have a DG? Pull in, your chances are good.

Not the case up here. The three that I've hit are all in towns or villages (by definition) and nothing. Maybe I'll check again today.

Looks like the word is that these will actually become a recurring item (I.E. these are actually gonna get a peg, actually get restocked and be in inventory and that type of thing). Dunno when, but August-on would be my guess for when to start keeping an eye out.

Mind you take it all with a grain of salt until sightings start flaring up again.

I know I traded my DG Cobra officers for a 30th StormShadow, but man I wish I still had them..or were able to get more...which is what I thought would happen.
