Back on topic: The club has to be the biggest batch of morons that was given permission to take credit card information. They should only deal with flag points.

So has anyone that this has happened to called them and asked them how they can fuck up sending an invoice to the account it is bought under? I mean, something is seriously wrong here. If they are sending people others information then there is something not very secure going on I'd think.

An invoice should be tied into an account. Seems pretty simple. The fact that someone else is getting another persons information should be a huge red flag. But hey, they are making ARAH type figures! Fuck it! Take my money and give the information to someone else!

Wow. Just.......wow. Good luck to all you sucke.......I mean fans that are supporting these ass hats. They seriously have to be some of the dumbest mother f#@kers that were allowed to get a Hasbro license. I'd be worried to give them a gift card even. Seems they can screw that up too.

I have some money to burn, and I've been debating picking up a subscription, if only to have some BTS fooder. This crap definitely settles that question...

Although I'm kind of hoping that one of BBTS's orders randomly starts showing up on my doorstep.

So... Less than 2 days left. How many folks buckled and got their subs? I haven't yet, and I'm still not sold.

Six months, hell, even a year ago... I was all in for probably two subs. They fucked around way too long and fucked up way too often. And of course like the winners they are, they end it after a 3-day holiday weekend where they're unavailable for customer service.

If I do buckle and go for the last minute order in the next day or 2, there's no guarantee the site will even work.

Like you, I was enthusiastic at the beginning, but that died down, and I've been on the fence ever since. There's a couple of good figures, but none of them are amazing, and certainly none of them are "I can't live without." But I was still going to shell out the money for a sub when MW posted his experience with getting the wrong invoice, and that clinched it. I can't be bothered to deal with a company that can't get their act together.

They can't send me the newsletter consistently every month; I'm going to trust them to correctly send me the figures?

Agreed. I had the money set aside for this, but the only figure I want now is Big Boa...

Looks like I'll just have to spend the money on Tofujesse.com

i had wanted only 2, maybe 3 of these figures so I never planned on doing it. I wonder now, how many people didnt that would have before all the crap happened. How many cancelled after the crap. This makes me wonder if its a large amount that will affect how many are out there and the eventual prices they will be by those who sell them.

Nope, not taking the plunge. Way too many dud figure choices, and the price per figure is double what I'd be willing to pay. And I can't afford for the club to lose any more of my financial information this year. I already had to replace two different credit cards.

dud figures + high prices + incompetence = no sale

Just a FYI guys. I have called the club twice and I have sent 6 emails with no response. I still haven't gotten my correct invoice and when I log into "my account" it says I have no order in there.

Well unlike most here, I'm actually content with at least 60% or more of the figures. Several are must-haves for me, like Cover Girl, Big Boa, and Dice... and probably even Topside. The rest, there are some interesting ones that I'd like to have as they're fairly cool and I'd open a few of them, and sell off the rest.

The problem is, the Club does a pretty good job with the actual figures themselves, it's just the management end that has no idea what the fuck they're doing. Sure, the selection seems sort of meh, but it's definitely better than the TFCC lineup this year.

It's a shame they're the only damn game in town to get some of these. I actually bet though that their actions have hurt the sales this time around, quite a bit.

I agree. I also think the fact that they have now sent out at least 2 "warning" mass emails out telling people you only have 7 days, 2 days blah blah is a result of that. I don't ever remember getting emails warning me about Dial Tone or FL. I could be wrong about that though.

Hmmm, all that money for a bad selection of kitbashes/repaints, plus the possibility of financial damage/identity theft?

Think I'll go for the Blur 21 set instead. At least ordering it isn't likely to get my info stolen.

There are only three figures I consider "must haves", and that's BB, CG, and Grunt... all 82-87 characters. I just don't have that nostalgic affection for the later figures. TNT is the only other one I would like to get, just because that is probably my favorite original foreign character.

But I'm gladly ordering them from BBTS. They have never given my credit card info to identity thieves.

I've elected to not even bother with the subscription. It's just too much and I've got multiple expensive projects going on. I just can't afford it anymore. There's only a couple figures I really wanted anyway.
