Just wanted to say I got two figs that I had missed when they came out....Buck and the Rookie. I like buck, kinda cool fig and the removeable helmet is pretty cool. The Rookie fig on the other hand....I had heard about this fig exploding out of package and bad QC done on it. Sheesh. They were not kidding. Out of package his shoulder popped out of socket(the ball end is malformed), both arms are so loose at elbows it's rediculous, and then while trying to move his wrist since it was tough to rotate, it rips apart. Rookie is a toal turd figure. Avoid at all costs.
Still trying to hunt down a decent priced Dare and now looking for Mickey.

Picked up a couple Halo Micro Ops packs out of curiousity. I'm pretty impressed with everything (turning rubber tires!?!) but the price and will do a little write up.

PCS,
I just picked up the falcon. Neat little helo. Wish so bad they would have made one for the larger figures but alas... 15 bucks seems a little high to me though.
I may have to pick up a few more(toy budget permitting) and a couple of the warthog sets. I was thinking the Shield Helicarrier would be perfect for transporting the falcons if painted green/halo-looking.
I also grabbed the 4 pack of Halo 4 figs. Saw the drop pod but passed this time as the wallet was already scorched.

Drop pod seems ridiculously expensive, but per ounce, the micro ops cost way more. It's sad, but I know MF will make plenty of money on them. The Falcon is awesome and I bet the Scorpion will be even better.

Oddball,
The ODST that comes with the drop pod is essentially "the rookie" figure. My suggestion would be to buy a Dutch fig from the 'bay for low $$$ and custom paint him. I have a few done like this and it expands on the ODST squad nicely.

oddball,
I dont have any right now but I will be sure to take some soon. I used crappy Testors model paint and I am by no means a good painter/customizer.

Here ya go oddball.

I put the Forge head on a Dutch body and dremeled out the helmet so it fits on his head. I also cut off the holster and added it to the Dutch body and repainted it. My paint was very thick though...now looking back I should have thinned it out but the fig came out OK I think nonetheless. The other one is of a Dutch with tan highlights on him. Simple touch up. I also cut behind their knees to allow more leg articulation.

Not sure where to put this, but apparently the Halo Avatar minifigures have been spotted at Dollar Tree stores. The heads will fit Joe figures, so this could be of interest to many.
