Thank you kind sir.
A full scale X-Wing that you can't put figures in, and the wings don't open up?, A full scale Falcon that doesn't do anything ?.
This issue truly baffles me the most. They're not even "toys" so to speak, actually more like plastic "statues".
I don't get it. What's even the point of them ? I was baffled by this as kid in the 70's when the first figures came out. You couldn't make them sit down right, and it sucked that you couldn't move the arms besides up and down.
And they can't say it couldn't be done at that time; the Micronauts came out during the same time, and you could get those 'lil guys to do most
anything, and they looked cool as Hell. And they were almost all interchangeable.
These toy companies
totally confuse me sometimes. The new Star Wars "Rebels" line is
awful., and based by what I saw at Wal Mart the other night, they're not selling. Every peg was full. During
Christmas time ?. That alone to me speaks
volumes. But I think the prequels ruined a lot of things for Star Wars, especially for us collectors.
Absolutely not one G.I. Joe
anything. That just makes me have a sad.
But then again as we said before, I'm quite sure that selling them at $10 bucks each
didn't help the line. I know I passed on them. All the Avengers figures selling at that price were full pegs also. Money is tight right now for everyone, so I guess the parents are passing on them also.
For ten bucks now, I'd only buy
some of the Doctor Who figs (I gotta have a Dalek, LOL!), and maybe that 'lil Sam figure from Trick or Treat, or the Alien, from that new retro line. I could spend ten bucks for
one figure, or spend ten bucks on a PTE vehicle with figures, and accessories.
That choice
isn't hard for me to make.
Which is a damned shame.
I
never thought I'd see the day that buying
ten 'lil plastic action figures would cost over
$100.00.
