Pickel - what is the difference? I'm trying to track down a desert tan colored humvee but not having much luck so I might have to put it on my PTE. Is there that much of a difference if I get the PTE version from you and then find a BBI or 21st century?

Everything will work on everything except the doors and rocker panel.

They are all different.

I was wishing that everybody would go with the 21st.

But no big deal . I will use the armor of what I have made but I will have to make new door skins to fit .

Along with the full length rocker panel.

Hey Guys,

I have the doors done and finished the rocker panel underneath them.

I am now working on the BBI doors and have come across a problem.

Due to the front doors swing out arm , the front doors swing out and stop against the frames .

If I do make the rocker panels they will have to be at least 1/4 inch away from the door frame.

This is going to look horrible . So I think that I will not make the rocker panels for the BBI HUMVEE.

I will post pics later on tonight.

The section would actually be about 1/2 inch.

Salty I think you are the only guy who wanted to go with the BBI. If you are switching to 21st , I may just stop were I am at.

Here are the finished doors and rocker panels.

Door handle and u-bolt .

Well that is it all the kits are done.

Now it is time for molding and pouring.

Green. Or be really cool and do black with odd tan sections, like the doors and smoke dispensers.

No worries, just kidding around. On another note, what photo resource guide did you use to develop the molds?

Develop the molds or parts ?

I assume you want to know about the parts.

I used a Bronco model to scale off of.

Using photos gives you an idea how the parts should look but does not give you the size .

Having a scale model is a must have when doing projects like this .

I make every effort to make my projects as scale as possible.

OK Guys ,

I need to break things down for you.

I have been real busy lately ( too busy ) I needed to get things built from long past customers .

If I am doing one thing something else is not getting done.

So I have teamed up with Daremo on this project.

He is a talented caster who can take on the job which will free me up to fulfill other obligations .

He started pouring resin a while ago and with cold weather ( Chicago ) and with a bad batch of resin we had a very costly setback .

That was then this is now.

I just received a box full of parts that I will be using for my full build orders and the parts are just fantastic !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The parts look like they are injected molded . WOW !!

You guy are really going to like them.

So , I have not charged anybody for shipping . Now is the time , all the orders will cost $6 .

Except you guys overseas . Price will be determed after the order is boxed up and shipping will be determined at that time.

I need all of you guys who have ordered , please contact Daremo and anti up the shipping ( $ 6 )along with your address . I will like for you to deal directly with him because I have been known in the past to ship the wrong package to the wrong state.

I. E. I shipped one of my Tigers to the East Coast and it should have gone to the West Coast

If I can I will take pics of these parts.

You guys are going to like them !!!

Well the kit was designed to fit the 21st Humvee .

The turret will fit on all the Humvees on the market

The front and rear bumpers along with the grill and Rhino Device II will fit on all of the Humvees on the market .

The doors and rocker panels will fit on the 21st Humvee . The doors on all of the Humvees on the market are ALL DIFFERENT .

But with heavy modification the door panels will fit .

You will have to bisect the skins of the door horizontally and vertically then apply the step out detail .

Not that big of a deal but a lot of putty work.

The antenna will fit on all of the Humvees on the market

The spare tire sits on the rear bumper so that will fit on ...........

Whoa! I'm gonna need instructions!

I do not think so .

Just refer to the build pics and every thing should go together .

I made the parts so they interlock and no guess work.

The only guess work is on the door handles .

If you look real close there is a rod on top the door handle ( upside down in the pics ) that forms a T . The T is aborndextourus .

Yo need to clip off ONE SIDE OF THE T DEPENDING IF IT WILL BE THE LEFT OR RIGHT.
